Part 18 - Drunken love

We won the game, 49-0. Let's just say the other team ate shit. I could feel Archie's eyes on me, but I didn't dare even shift my gaze towards him a little. Betty's eyes were fixated on Jughead. I like him, he seems like a good guy for her.

Although, I still wish I could be with her, I have to except the fact that she's happy with him.

Betty and I giggled with each other as we did our cheers. At half time, we performed a routine and it went really well. Cheryl and I had the main parts of it.

Now Betty and I were on our way to the party.

"I hope Archie's not there" I announced with a chuckle, talking a long chug from the bottle of liquor.

"Speaking of, I should tell you what happened with him. You know how we each got assigned a football player to give the uniforms to?" She asked.

"Mhm" I responded.

"Yeah, well cheryl assigned me to Archie. When I went over we got in a huge argument and he said some horrible stuff to me, then I slapped him." She explained.

"You slapped him?" I started dying laughing.

"Yup" she said popping the P.

"Damn, wish I could've seen that. I'm sorry you had to go through that though, Betty" I said with a slight frown.

"Ah it's whatever" she said her eyes fixed on the road.

After a few minutes of driving we pulled up to Reggie's house. It was really big by the looks of it, and modern looking as well.

"Welp, this should be fun" Betty said anxiously.

I nodded giving her an awkward smile, then we both left the car and entered the house.

Reggie greeted us "My favorite ladies, so glad you could make it" He kissed my cheek. You could smell the alcohol in his breath from miles away.

We walked pass groups of people some dancing, some play beer pong, some talking, pretty much the usual.

"Let the drinking begin!" I announced enthusiastically filling up a plastic cup with beer and handing it to Betty.

"Cheers" She grinned goofily tapping her cup against mine. We both chugged drink, after drink, after drink.

We found ourselves laying atop a sofa, in one of the back rooms of the house. In the room with us was, Reggie, Chuck, Cheryl, and Valerie.

"We should play never have I ever" Chuck slurred.

We all grumbled some sort of "yes"

"I'll start" Archie said entering the room.

I groaned loudly, making sure he could hear me. I was in no mood for his shit. When he walked in, I noticed Betty moved slightly closer to me as if she was trying to comfort me.

"Go ahead, Andrews" Cheryl replied.

"Never have I ever, kissed Reggie."

Betty and Cheryl both took a shot.

"So unfair" Betty chuckled.

"Veronica's turn!" Valerie suggested.

"Okay, never have I ever, gone streaking" I said smirking at Betty. Everyone's eyes were on her. She chugged another shot, Chuck, and Reggie did as well.
