Can't Let You Go

chapter thirteen:

Ava's POV

Although today is my Eighteenth birthday I don't feel any different. When I was younger I thought I would feel like a woman, but honestly I don't. I feel like the same Ava I was yesterday. So I get an idea that will have everyone doing double takes.

"Ughh!" I scream as Anna and Chase run and jump on top of me screaming "Happy Birthday!" Even though Chase and I are together I still don't want him in my bed, all the time that is. I don't want to turn into that teen couple who just has sex all the time. It's not me at all and I told Chase if he doesn't like it I have no problem with us breaking up. As I hoped he would be, he is okay with it.

"It's my birthday. Now get off of me." I say struggling to get there weight off of me. I am officially the shortest person in the group Anna decided she wanted to shoot up three inches.

"Whatever. Your lucky ass got a birthday that fell on a Saturday your not spending it in bed!" Anna says jumping up and down. I groan.

"It's not that big of a deal. I'm turning 18. Woo Hoo!" I say sarcastically.

Walking in my room wearing just boxers Tyler says "Yeah and that means you're legal!" He says winking at Chase. Everyone laughs except for me.

"To late for that." Anna chimes in.

"Can you guys get up and let me take a shower. Please!" I say in my serious voice but it came out a little squeaky. I pull the covers over my head and close my eyes. I wish that theses people will leave my room. I hope the Birthday fairy can hear me and make it happen.

"Okay guys lets leave her to get ready. Ava if you're not ready in thirty minutes you want have to worry about your birthday because this will be the last one you will ever have." Anna orders taking the covers off of me.

Once showered and fully clothed in jeans and a hoodie that had and upside down house one it (The Neighbourhood) I go into Anna's room. She was also getting dressed. She came out her closet and stopped letting a winning smirk come on her face. I couldn't take it anymore call me weak but I just couldn't stand it any longer letting my babies stay home and collect dust. I put on my purple beanie.

"I win but doesn't matter anyways. I'm not cutting it because Matty likes to play with it after we have sex." She informs me. I roll my eyes at her lack of... wait what's the word? Oh well.

"Shut up and tmi."

"Whatever. So what are we doing before your big surprise party." Anna let it slip that Danny is throwing me a surprise party. I decided to let him go head and do it because I have a surprise of my own.

"First we are going to Naked Ink because I am getting a new tattoo. I was supposed to go with Danny but he's throwing me a party then we're going to Shelby's to get ready so bring your stuff." Her smile is stretching from ear to ear and I can't help but laugh at how dumb she looks.

I've been going to Naked Ink since I was 15 to get my tattoos done by Ink Man (Bobby). He's the best in my old town he was uneasy about giving me a tattoo but when I came back with a signed form he had no problem. I got mom to sign it thinking it was field trip form. It helped that she was sort of drunk.

We left an hour later to Chases dismay. He said he wanted to have birthday sex and I told him later.

At Naked and I have butterflies in my stomach I haven't been this excited in like forever. I go in the back and tell Bobby what I want he sketches it out on a pad and I fall in love. Its a triangle and it says 'New' in Greek. it means new change. I'm getting it on my right hip.

Anna got 'M.H', which are Matt's initials (Matt Hill), in temporary ink. I can't wait to see his reaction.

"Are you sure you want to do this. I mean you look perfect the way you are now." Anna says with a uneasy look on her face.
