Livius's P.O.V.:
Damn it...
Why do I have to do all these adoption paperwork from Nike's country??? Shouldn't Nike herself be helping me out on this???
Where is my ex-wife anyway???
It's been 17 years since Nike and I divorced... and also since Amari left this world...
Kei obviously was elated but he was a good actor at pretending to be sad about it... I'm sure that bastard can't wait to meet Amari in heaven...
That brings me to my next question... Amari can always ask God to come back here right? I mean she may be my half sister but she is still God's direct child right???
I suddenly heard a beautiful melodic voice singing, resounding throughout my kingdom...
It was almost evening...
The rain started to fall in light drizzle...
Must be Nike... She does come to the Sun Kingdom to bring the rain since her father wants to continue our contract to maintain good political relationship...
I walked to the balcony and stood there for a while, holding the railing while waiting for the best part to appear...
After Nike has finished her song, a breathtaking rainbow appeared and I stared at the wonders of God...
"King Livius."
Neil's voice snapped me out of my reverie and I turned around, facing him fully.
"They're here.."
That's right... I signed an agreement with Nike's father to take in some of the orphans from their country...
I smiled at the headmistress of the orphanage and each of the orphans aged from 5 till 17...
"Welcome to the Sun Kingdom. I am King Livius and all of you will remain in an orphanage here till you reach 18 years of age..."
"Thank you King Livius for having all of them here. But will they return back to the Principality of Rain or will they remain here when they're 18?" the headmistress asked..
"Well they can choose which country they wish to stay in but they can only choose once......" my voice trailed off as my eyes landed on a girl, who looks to be about 17...
The headmistress noticed I had stopped talking so she looked at the girl then at me.
"Oh this is Mitsuko. She has a beautiful meaning to her name, which means child of the light. She is 17 years of age this year. The orphanage from Principality of Rain said they've been taking care of her since she was a baby. She was left at their doorstep on the day that Princess Nike made a double rainbow appear 17 years back, which has never happened before..." the headmistress ranted as Mitsuko gave a gentle smile to Livius..
"I've waited so long to meet you... King Livius..." she whispered but Livius heard it nonetheless...
That light brown hair, those enchanting bright violet eyes and the way she speaks with a delicate voice...
It's no mistake...
"She will be the only one not allowed to return to the Principality of Rain..." Livius spoke, earning gasps from several of the orphans and the headmistress..
But Neil wasn't surprised. The moment he saw the girl, he had a strong feeling...
And Livius proved him right...
And this time...
Livius will not let Amari go...
