Ch.16

Hey guys, updates will be slow but I'm gonna start writing here again. I've started a new shizaya book to about tsuki and Roppi so check it out!

Izaya's pov

I wake up and hear talking when I realise it's Shinra and Shizuo I keep my eyes closed and pretend to sleep, I'm not ready to face them yet..

"What the hell was he  thinking?!" I hear Shinra say.

"This  is why you can't let him out of your  sight, this happened last time I left you alone too!" I hear him say.

"Wait...his has happened before?" Shizuo asks Shinra. I don't want him to know. But I guess it's too late now.

"Yeah, I'm surprised you haven't noticed, the ones on his arms are covered with so many cuts you can't see the original scars anymore, but he sliced into his arteries on both arms, he also has scars from doing the same thing on his legs. I found him unconscious but got here just in time"

" How can a person even live through that?" Shizuo asks.

"Well, he almost didn't, I'm surprised he even survived. Even though I check his arms for cuts regularly, I don't check his legs. Can you make sure to check both his arms and legs for me regularly please?" Shinra asks him.

I thought he wouldn't even had thought about my legs! That's why I've been doing it there!

"Anyway we should attempt to wake him up now, don't bombard him with questions when he wakes up" Shinra says.

He shakes my shoulder. "Izaya, Izaya"
I open my eyes and sit up rubbing my eyes.

"How are you feeling?" Shinra asks. I can now see that Shinra and Shizuo are at the side of my bed.

"G-good " I tell him. " do you want anything ?I'm gonna make you some food, do you want tea or coffee?" Shinra asks.

"Uh, coffee" I say, he nods and leaves the room. "Hey, Izaya" I look over to Shizuo.

"Y-yeah?" I ask nervously.

"Are you okay?" He asks me.

"Y-yeah"

" are you sure?"

"...yeah" I smile at him and get up, walking to the kitchen. Shizuo follows me and we all sit down at the table.

Shinra gives me some coffee and a plate of spaghetti bolognese, then he gives he same to Shizuo and himself.

Timeskip

We all finish our food, "so, Izaya.." Shinra starts. Ugh, I know what's he's gonna say.

" have you been taking your meds?" He asks.

"Yeah" I answer, I'd rather avoid this conversation all together.

"Have you been eating right?"

"Yeah" I say, Shizuo huffs.

" can I check your arms? I know Shizuo knows"

I freeze for a second just thinking about it.

"O-okay" I answer.  I sigh and hold out my arms. Shinra undoes the bandages and checks. "No they seem fine"

I pull my sleeves down and cross my arms. " I know I haven't asked this before, but do you mind me looking at your legs?" He asks.

I freeze, my thighs are covered in cuts. I have no idea what to tell him. "Izaya? You haven't done anything have you?" He asks.

"W-what? No" I say nervously. "Well, I'll leave that to Shizuo to check, I have to go" he says getting up and packing his thinks away. Wow, how helpful.

Shinra leaves and I sigh. I walk back over to my bedroom. "Hey" I hear Shizuo say. "Hm?" I turn around to face him.

"You can't just act like nothing happened, you can talk to me you know" he says getting up and walking over to me.

"I-I know, but I'm fine really-"

"People who are fine don't jump off buildings" he tells me bluntly.

"Well technically I fell" I tell him trying to lighten the mood.

"But you voluntarily fell-" I cut him off.

"Shower! I'm going in the shower, okaybyetalktoyoulater" I say fastly running to the bathroom turning the shower on.
