Sometimes i catch my self trying to bribe myself into not feeling a certain way about something. I think we are all familiar with "shoulding" all over ourselves when we are not feeling great: "I should not feel this way ... I should feel this way because of.. xyz.

And listen, it is so important to know how to give yourself  a pep talk and know how to direct your thinking to positive spaces of gratitude within you. That said, there are also the days when you are just going through it. Give yourself the gift of a meltdown. Take time to feel it. Maybe you are overwhelmed. Maybe you are angry. Maybe you are stressed. Maybe you are heartbroken. Have your feelings. We can not overcome what we ignore. Experience your self for your own good. Thats all.
