"There is no one who takes care of us as lovingly as our mother does. She is our living God."

I didn't know I covered my eyes with my arms until I slowly lowered them to see what happened.

Did that lightning bolt hit me? Am I dead?

"We're home! We're home!" Dawn jumped around still in her true form.

"She's too bubbly." Night grumbled but shook his head in a playful manner.

The Guardians acted like I didn't just challenge the Dragon God. It's probably not the first time it's happened.

"You are still alive, Silver. You are in the realm of our kind, Impargos." Zephyr said, his eyes expressed his awe and nostalgia at returning to his home after so long.

We were on a cliff with a stunning view; the land seemed to stretch for eternity. The grass slowly blended into buildings. Some of their structures were on top of floating arrow-shaped boulders which were linked together by chains, while the rest was connected to the ground. The city was beautiful; the architecture seemed impossible to be able to be recreated by human hands.

This is just a small part of something bigger. There's still a lot more to see.

Impargos is definitely a place for dragons.

Their sky was blue but there was a random streak of colors running through it, while white clouds floated by.

"This is where you guys live?" I asked Zephyr as I continued to gaze at the city of dragons in disbelief.

"Indeed. This is our home."

"Wait until you see the rest!" Dawn exclaimed.

"How did we get here?"

"It is I that brought you here." A voice danced in my ears.

It was a second later that a shadowed dragon figure, almost resembling Ryszard, beat its wings, making the grass tremble, as it landed softly on the ground.

The dragon was a spitting image of the Dragon God except it was a bit smaller and didn't have horns. Its scales glowed a dark blue and its eyes were a light purple color, somehow putting me at ease when I gazed at them for too long.

The dragon shifted its eyes from me to Zephyr. "It is good to see you again after such a long absence, meite zan*."

"It is always soothing to be in your presence, dragon-mother." Zephyr said and bowed his head.

I was stunned for a second before I copied Zephyr and bowed as well.

"You have so many questions, young one." The dragon goddess said.

I simply nodded, still too shocked to make words.

"My name is Amalthea. It is an honor to finally meet the Blind Maiden." She bowed her head.

"N-no. The pleasure is all mine." I stumbled through my words, flustered.

"My lady! My lady! It's great to see you again!" Dawn exclaimed swishing her tails happily, finally calming down.

"It's a pleasure to be in your presence again, my lady." Night bowed respectfully.

"How can I simply forget the two of you?" Amalthea laughed. Her voice had a gentle tone, making you relax instantly.

Dawn purred loudly. I've never heard her make such a loud noise before.

"I brought all of you here to discuss matters in a calmer atmosphere. Ryszard likes to intimidate everyone; such a temper too. No one has spoken to him like that in millennia." Her voice held amusement while I blushed.
