Isaac when you visit him in the hospital after his dad had broken a bone of his, you're sat by his side, hand holding his as you hold his palm open, and his brows furrow as you slide a piece of paper in to his hand, aware of his father sat across the room, fast asleep. You hated the man, hated how he had lied to the nurses, how he hurt him, Isaac reads it, reads about how he could stay at your house any time he needed to. If he could just sneak out, he would be safe with you, and his eyes roam up towards your face that held a small smile, and so he mouthed a response.
