— MICHELLES POV —

It's been at least 2 hours since Stephanie left. All I want is for her to come through those double doors again, but it doesn't look like she wants to.

My nan walks through with a huge smile on her face. I really wish I could give one back, but my entire face is frozen in place, I can't do a thing about it.
"Hi lovely." She beams, hugging me tightly. I manage a vague smile up at her.

It's so nice to have my nan here, I haven't seen her in four months but all I want right now is Stephanie to come back, I need her. My nan clearly notices my eyes scanning the room for Michelle, she almost reads my thoughts.
"Stephanie's a bit overwhelmed lovely." She whispers, holding my hand. "You'll see her in a few days." A few days is too long for me to wait to see her again.

I wish I had the strength to pick myself up right now and run all the way home to her. To have her in my arms as she cuddles me to sleep, but not all wishes can be fulfilled.

My nan sits beside me in silence as she smiles at me joyfully, I stare right ahead at the double doors. As I do, they burst open. A flood of cameras, notepads and news reporters flood in, pointing the camera directly in my face.
"Do you mind!" My nan yells, attempting to push the camera away.
"We're sorry, but are you aware that Michelle and Stephanie's story is going viral! We managed to catch up with some people, including Mary Johnson who told us a lot about what happened. We'd love it if you could come to New York and do an interview with us when Michelle is out of hospital."

I can't believe the words coming out of the news reporters mouth. They want me and Stephanie to go to New York! This is a dream come true and we'll be able to share our story to the entire world. I can't express how I'm feeling right now, like literally.

My nans face lights up in exhilaration.
"When Michelle is out of hospital, we'd absolutely love to, thank you." She smiles as she begins answering questions that people with notepads blurt out at her, but I cant concentrate on any of it.

The shock floods my mind. I'm going to New York with my girlfriend and nan, and we're going to be on TV, everybody's going to know us, this is going to be incredible!

As the crowd of news reporters and crew are rushed out of the room by paramedics, my nan grabs her phone out of her pocket and places it to her ear. I briefly hear the other end as she answers, the beautiful voice of the girl I love, it warms my heart.

"Stephanie, pack your things, we're going to New York." She beams.

This is going to be amazing. Wait I take that back..this is going to change our lives forever.
