A sky full of stars and he was staring at her.
-Atticus****
The way she was looking at the stars was was making my heart constrict. Those beautiful innocent green eyes holding so much wonder and amusement. I can't help but smile looking at her. There's a small smile played on her lips as she stares, it's amazing.
I have no clue what this girl is doing to me. I can't help but to be around her. All I think about is her. The way she laughs, the way she smiles, the way she scrunches up her nose when she's upset, and the cute little adorable way she bites her lip when she gets embarrassed or anxious, and her little mole on her cheek. It's like she the drug, and I'm a junkie who can't get enough. Being around her is intoxicating. Everytime I'm around her I just want to make her happy. I love to see that smile. I'd do anything in my power to see it.
But yet those eyes are holding something back. Something has happened to make her so hurt on the inside. I just want to hold her til the pain goes away. Until she can't feel it anymore. But I can't. I barely know her. But I can't keep doing this. I'm falling for this girl, and fast. I don't be able to keep my self in check for much more.
"It's beautiful," she says, her voice soft as honey. She's looking at me, those emerald eyes staring at me, that smile still on her lips.
"It sure is," I answer back, but I'm not talking about the stars. I've barely looked at them. I'm talking about the magnificent girl laying right next to me. Everytime she talks I'm lost in a trance.
She asks me how I found this place and I tell her. I was lucky to find this place. I also tell her that I've never brought anyone here, except for her. She's my only exception.
I should have known you play a sport. You're too much of a prick to not play a sport. Plus that ego of yours is about 10 times too big for your head. Obviously too many hits to the head." She comments about me playing football.
No one has ever said that to me. But coming from Liv, I'm okay with it. "You better run." I say, deciding on chasing her. She's not gonna get away that easily with insulting me.
A look of horror flashes across her face and I fight the urge to laugh. "What?" She questions, backing away a little.
"I said run princess." I tell her, just as she hops of the truck bed and races through the field. I take off after her, making sure to keep a few paces behind. She starts laughing like a little kid and it's like music to my ears. I could hear it all day everyday. I start laughing too, and soon we're both running around aimlessly around an abandoned field, with nothing but the stars and moon to judge us.
*****Liv's P.O.V
"So did you have fun tonight?" Noah asks, walking me up to my door. I told him not to, but being the stubborn ass he is of course he did anyway. I did have fun tonight. That field was amazing, and having Noah there too wasn't such a buzzkill... I haven't had this much fun with a boy in months. Noah made me feel a different way.. He made me laugh, and smile, and get this giddy feeling that I can't quite describe.
"Yeah I really did." I tell him truthfully.
I look up into those blue eyes staring into my green plain ones. The way he stares makes my skip a beat. I keep his stare, examining every feature on his face. From his strong jawline, to his nose that's fits him perfectly, to those damn blue eyes. Those stupid beautiful eyes that are going to be the death of me.
"Do you know how beautiful you are?" He asks with the most sincere look I've seen from him. I'm taken aback by that. There's no way in hell I was expecting that. I try and say something back, but I'm suddenly at lost for words. How do I answer to that? How could I give this blue eyed monster an answer?
"T-thank you." I somehow muster, cheeks flushing a deep red. He smiles and leans down til he kisses my cheek then pulls away.
"Goodnight princess." He says, and walks back to his truck. He gets in and drives off, leaving me there wondering how I'm going to survive Noah Greene.
