Caroline lugged her enormous suitcase out the front door of her house. She put the huge monster into the trunk of the Über's car. Caroline got in, gave the destination, and went on to the group chat. Isabella, Mark, Jasmine, and James were all texting rapidly, making sure that everyone was on their way to the rental car shop. Once they all arrived they piled up their suitcases and got into the van.

"Ah! Whose ready to have one hell of a summer?" Mark yelled. Everyone cheered in response and he slammed down on the gas.

"Wait, so what language do deaf people think in?" James said, sounding frustrated.

"I don't think they'd actually think in words, more like emotions or something like that." Caroline said.

"This is stupid. We clearly need to be focusing on the fact that all celebrities are reptiles!" Isabella snapped.

"No, aliens!" Jasmine yelled.

"How about food? Anyone else want food? Or better yet, anyone else wanna drive? I'm done." Mark yawned.

Finally, they made it. Everyone got out, stiffly. Jasmine cracked her back so loud that everyone stared in shock and amusement. "What?" She laughed.

Everyone carried their bags to the beach house. It was even prettier in person. It had four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and was two stories tall. Some palm trees were crowded around the front and behind it was a peaceful looking forest. If they followed the path in front of the house then it would take them straight to the beach. "I'm guessing James and Mark will share a room and everyone else will get their own?" Caroline said to the group.

"Agreed." Mark said, locking the car.

"First come, first serve!" Isabella screamed.

Everyone broke out into a full on sprint to the house, yet Caroline walked. She had the key! She snuck around to the back and went in. She could hear banging and cursing at the front door from her friends. Ha! Caroline put her suitcase upstairs in the room with a cozy twin bad and a balcony then let her friends in. "Not fair!"

"What the hell?"

They muttered under their breath as they ran through the house. "First come first serve!" Caroline called after them.

Caroline plopped down in her bed, after walking around she had discovered a kitchen, laundry room, and living room. It was now two in the morning. Caroline turned off the lamp by her bed and closed her eyes. She heard a feint noise in the distance that she couldn't quite make out. She walked out onto the balcony and listened. There was the distant howl of wolves. How beautiful! Wolves were such interesting animals, Caroline did a science project over wolves in middle school for Biology. She went back inside and got back into bed, immediately falling asleep.
