Chapter 3

Harry’s POV

By the fourth date, April 15th, I had finally decided to ask Lolita to be my girlfriend. She blushed madly but replied with a “yes” that made me smile like a kid on Christmas morning. We kissed that night, and I still remember the feeling of when our lips first connected. It was literally like electric. Even though my eyes were closed, I saw fuzzy stars and the world was spinning, as if I was getting electrocuted by her plump lips.

We were seated in my car, kissing, when I pulled her onto my lap. I think it’s what we both wanted. Ever since I saw her I wanted my lips on hers. I wanted her in my lap like she was in that moment, I wanted her tongue playing with mine and her fingers in my hair. It was all happening in the front seat of my car, and my heart was beating at a ridiculous rate I thought it would break open my chest.

“Harry,” She sighed softly, pulling away from our kiss to nuzzle her nose into my cheek.

“Lola,” I replied with a small smile, finally satisfied that I could finally call her mine. That I could invite her over to my house and we could longue lazily on the couch while making out. That no one else can have her, because she’s mine.

“I’m happy you asked me to be your girlfriend.” She admitted, leaning back to look me in the eyes. I smiled.

“I’m happy you said yes.”

She giggled a little then, and shook her head. “I couldn’t say no. You’re too…mysterious. Sexy. I like it.” Yes, I did feel incredibly guilty for lying to her. She had not the slightest clue how dangerous I was. How I would knock out a guy if I noticed his eyes were on Lo’s body. How I had thousands of dollars to spend on spoiling her, but more importantly how I got those thousands of dollars.

Then I felt her fingers massage my scalp and I let out a strangled breath, my eyelids falling closed as I felt her lean her, hot breath against my lips when they connected once again.

She was so beautiful it physically, mentally, and emotionally hurt me. It hurt me how fast I was falling for her beautiful smile when we hadn’t even known each other for two weeks. I think when you find someone you know is meant for you, it’s impossible to stop yourself from falling in love with them. Not that I was in love with Lola at this point, but it was the beginning. The way beginning but I was ready for the journey. I was ready to see where this would take us, dangerous or not. Hell, I knew it was dangerous. But I would do anything to protect my little Lo, my baby girl.

When I drove her home that night, she leaned over and kissed my lips again before getting out, which made my lower region grow hot again.

“Goodnight, Harry.” She murmured quietly, sending me a single wink before jumping out and slamming my door, hurrying up the steps to her apartment building. I didn’t even get a chance to wish her a goodnight also.

She came over to my flat the very next day because to be honest, we couldn’t get enough of each other. And we were boyfriend and girlfriend, so we kissed. A lot. I picked her up from her apartment building and drove back to my place, holding her hand as we walked up to the elevator to head up to my flat. Once we made it up, we walked to my door and I searched for the key, slotting it in the hole and turning the knob.

“Wow.” She immediately said. Since I’m wealthy (not going to lie about that), I have a very luxurious looking apartment in an expensive building. My countertops are marble, floors a shiny granite and the walls a nice grey brick. There was a large window over by the couch with a view of the buildings in the city, which gave me great a nice nightlight when the sunsets.

“This place must cost a fortune, jeez Harry.” She glided her slim fingers over the countertops and walks over to the window, placing the pads of her fingers against the glass. Then she examined my newly redesigned kitchen with better looking wood cabinets and a bigger fridge, which was pointless because I lived alone.
