Chapter 18

"Sure why not it should get my mind off stuff" "perfect! do u have stuff to wear" "yeah" "K ill wait here for you" Lydia says "Ok" I change into this party outfit and do my makeup quick and leave my hair down. We drive to the party and we get there and there is a lot of people. Me and Lydia immediately go to the dance floor. After an hour of dancing we go sit down laughing. I glance over at Lydia and I see someone behind her go into a room so I look back and see Jack and a girl. I guess we all know what that means, only if I listened to Tessa and called him or did something this wouldn't of happened. I couldn't even cry I didn't know how to feel. "Hey wanna go back out?" Lydia asks "No it's ok go ahead" I say smiling small at her. I look down thinking of what is going on right now until I was interrupted "hey Lola" I look up to see Jonah "oh hey" he was standing to where I can see the door behind him. "what are you doing here" "nothing just came to get my mind of things" I clear my throat "and you?" "Just a night out with the boys" "right" I say glancing at the door. "what's wrong?" Joanh asks "nothing" "well wanna dance?" "eh.." "ugh you're no fun" I kinda giggle a little and Glance at the door then it opens Jack and the girl walk out laughing and looking messy. He looks up and we make eye contact. His smile fades and he starts to walk over to me I start to walk away "Lola-" Jonah says and sees Jack pass him and shuts up. I walk around a corner which turn into a long hallway with no one in it" He's behind me but I keep walking "Lola" I still keep walking "Lola!" his voice got a little louder but i never turned around "Lo-" He grabs my arm and i turn around. I try to push his hand of my arm. "Talk to me" he says trying to get me to look into his eyes. "I know I can't tell you nothing happened" I give up but continue to look down "cause it did but I'm sorry" "Let go of me" Lydia comes around the corner and grabs my hand pulling me away a little bit. "Lola what's-" "It's fine i can handle this" "we could just go home" she says "why not" we start walking as soon as we go to turn the corner I flip him off.

~At Home~

I walk in and go straight to my room. I go straight to my bed cause I don't feel like dealing with anything. I lay down staring at the ceiling and my phone buzzes. I grab my phone and see that it's Jonah.

Jonah: Hey where did u go?

Lola: Home

Jonah: Oh. Why did u run from Jack

Lola: if u wanna ask so many questions just come over lmao

Jonah: k omw

I laugh and put the phone down. I go out and sit on the couch waiting for Jonah to come over. The doorbell rings and I get it. Me and Jonah hang out for an hour or so and he leaves. Logan comes over to me as I'm playing with a ring I had on "we have to get up early tomorrow" I look up at him "Why?" "Have to go direct a video for the boys" "Why do I have to come ?" "Lola just come with me" "ok ok" I watch netflix for the rest of the night and fall asleep.

I hear a knock on my door and wake up "come in" I groan getting up. "Get ready" Logan says and leaves. He's been acting different I don't know what's going on. I look at the time on my phone and it's 6:31 I throw on a maverick hoodie and black leggings and vans. I put my hair in a ponytail and put a little bit of makeup, why not do a natural look, who am I trying to impress?

Me and Logan get there he is directing and I'm standing next to his chair with my earbuds in listening to 'LoveSick' He comes back and sits down. He taps me and points at a chair and I go sit over there. As I'm listening to music I'm playing with my ring again, I started wearing a ring mom got me and I just find myself playing with it at times. I guess they are taking a break and Jonah comes up to me. I look up at him and smile taking my earbuds out. "Hey" he says "Hi" "watcha doing here?" "Logan had me comes" I shrug "Oh" "I don't know why though" "ok well im gonna be over there" he points somewhere "if you need me" "Ok thanks" I put my earbuds back in and zone out playing with my ring again. Logan comes up to me "Lola" I take out my earbuds and look at him "We are going to a meeting and you're coming with" "ok" I put my phone and stuff in my pocket.

We go in a room and I sit next to Logan with Jonah next to me and Jack across from me. This time i'm bored so I purposely play with my ring. Jonah glances down at me and put his hand on my thigh. I look up at him and sit up straight now. If Jack sees this he probably will think I cheated on him. I put my hand on Jonah's and move it off. I glance at Jack and he was looking at me. I wasn't paying attention to what they were talking about till they mention something about another tour they like just got off I was confused. Anyway they finish the meeting and we all walk out and Jack grabs my arm pulling me to a room away from them. "what the hell?" "will you please talk to me" "why?" "Because I still love you" "then why would you do what you did last night" "Cause I was pulled into a truth or dare" I look down "Just please forgive me I promise nothing will happen" I sigh "i...i guess" he smiles "so Lola will u be my girlfriend?" "yes" I smile back and he pulls me into a hug "I'm sorry" we both say.
