Chapter 71

It has been a few hours and me and the girls, well who's left, Alanis, Gaby, and Aspen. We all decided to go back inside as the party started to die down.

"yeah well Dani-" Gaby started.

"hey guys" Jack said walking in the room.

"hey" I smile with a yawn following.

"sup" Alanis says.

I get up so jack can sit where I was. He sat down and I sat in his lap leaning back.

"where's Jonah?" Alanis asks.

"um hanging around the pool. I think" Jack asks pointing outside.

"thanks" she says getting up fixing her dress as I shake my head. Gaby looks at me confused.

"what. what's going on?" she asks with a laugh.

"you don't know bout her and Jonah?"

"no. Clearly not"

"well you know he's dating Charlotte right"

"yeah" she nods

"well they have a friends with benefits thing going on" I laugh.

"what!" Jack says.

"wait. huh? I thought you knew"

"no. That's not what Jonah told me!"

"oh" I laugh "well what did he say"

"he said they were just friends but he wanted it to be more than that. I didn't know they were hooking up" he sighs.

"control him" I laugh.

Gaby looks at her phone yawing.

"well i'm gonna go but the party was fun" she smiles getting up. I get up and hug her.

We walk in the front door and throw everything to the side. I go to our room immediately taking my shoes off. I hop in the shower quickly and skip washing my face. I throw on pajamas and fall right to sleep.

I wake up and start coughing waking Jack up.

"what's wrong?" he asks from behind me as i'm propping myself up on my elbow.

"i don't know. My throat hurts. My nose is stuffy and i'm coughing"

"so you're probably sick" he sighs.

"the obvious." I say laying back down.

"do you want anything to eat?" he asks getting up.

"no. Can you get me a water though?" I ask laying on my side.

"yeah" he says changing.

"thanks"

I layed around all day while jack was at the studio with the boys. I keep coughing so i barley got rest. Me and Jacks relationship seemed to get better since we started to live together. This is the best part of my life.

~skip 2 years or so~

"Jasmine wants us to babysit!" I yell to Jack from the kitchen.

"ok!" He yells back.

I finish up what I was doing and wait for Jack. We head over to Jasmine's after about 30 minutes.

It's been a few hours since we've been at there house and Bella was playing with barbies in the living room as we had cartoons turned on.

"Aunt Lola!" She says looking at me.

"yes baby?" I say setting my phone down.

"mom and dad are always being loud in their room and I can't sleep"

"what do you mean?" I laugh.

"like. Yelling." she says

"in what way....." then what she is saying clicks in my brain "never mind! don't imitate that"

"okay" she smiles and continues playing with her dolls. Oh my lord what has Jasmine done to this child.

Me and Jack get home after shopping and babysitting. I sit on the couch exhausted from today. Jack comes and sits next to me after moving the bags to the kitchen. I lay my head on his shoulder.

"what's wrong?" he asks

"nothing. Exhausted." I sigh

"well" he says kissing my head.

I grab snacks and we go and lay in our bed watching Netflix. Once again. Somehow it turned into something more. Dear lord, not this again.

~skip a week or so later~

I had a gut feeling that I needed to take a pregnancy test for some odd reason. I grabbed one from under my bathroom sink. I don't know why don't ask.

I did my thing and set it on the counter and waited for a minute. Jack wasn't home so he wouldn't see it.
here we go... one line good- two fucking lines. I freeze not knowing what to do. Alanis. Maybe she would know. I pick up my phone and text her.

Lola- alanis dude answer it's an emergency
Alanis- yo? what's up? you okay?
Lola- can u just come over?
Alanis- yeah yeah be there in a second
Lola- thanks

After 15 minutes there's a knock at the door. I run and open it.

"hey Lola what's wrong?!" she asks as I move aside to let her walk in.

"just follow me"

"is jack home?"

"no."

"alright."

I lead her to my bathroom. I stand there as the pregnancy test is sitting on the counter.

"wait. Lola. do you have another one?" She asks looking at the test.

"yeah..." I mumble.

"take it!"

"ok ok" I say digging into the cabinet again.

After a few hours I heard the front door open. Alanis had left by now and I hid the tests. oh yeah that other test was positive. Alanis and I didn't know what to do so i decided to wait to tell Jack. Just then he walks in the room.

"hey" he smiles seeing me.

"hey" I smile sitting up.

"what did you do today?" he says sitting next to me.

"layed around" I shrug playing with my fingers.

"you okay?"

"i'm fine just bored"

"mkay" Jack says.

"i'm gonna go make something. Want anything?" he says getting up.

"i'm ok thanks"

"alright love you"

"love you more"

Yeah i'm acting weird. It's not that easy. I have another human inside of me. Just think about it.
