Chapter 44

He looks at Zach and me and keeps walking. I stand up and go to him.

"Jack!" I say pissed off. He stops in his tracks and turns around to look at me.

"yes?" he says doing a hand motion.

"what's wrong with you. Why would you do that to Lola?" He rolls his eyes and continues to walk. "Now i know damn well you did not just roll your eyes and walk away from me while i'm talking to you"

"Jasmine! I don't wanna hear anything more. I know i'm a bad person. I know it all so if you could leave me alone. Thanks." He goes to his room.

I sigh and go back to sit down with Zach.

"yeah uh don't talk to him" Zach says whiling sighing.

"sorry" I say playing with my fingers "Lola is my best friend and she was heartbroken"

"i know. It's fine." he says looking at me.

Just then Jack walks back out the house with his phone in his hand.

"hey buddy where are you going" Zach says

"no where"

"Jack..."

"Zach leave me alone" Jack says walking out the door.

"wellll he's grumpy" I say laughing trying to get Zach to laugh.

And another thing to interrupt us, Daniel walks out.

"omg Zach cant you just ask her out already?!" Daniel says.

"what?" I ask turning to Zach.

"oh right i've been meaning to tell you" Zach says looking back at me as his cheeks turn even more pink then usual. Daniel leaves and I motion on for Zach to continue.

"Well uh I like you....Lola told me you like me" he says smiling a little.

"oh sh-she did" I say laughing awkwardly.

"yeahhh but uh so if that's true...I was wondering if you uh wanted to be my girlfriend" He smiles at me.

"of course!" I say smiling hugging him.

-Lola's POV-

Me and Colby finished eating and went on the couch and talked about what we didn't get to talk about yesterday. Then there was a knock at the door and Logan gets it.

"Jack?" he says standing in front of the door still but when i heard the name it caused me and Colby to look over.

"hey uh..." Jack says nervously knowing Logan would beat his ass. Kinda wish he would.

"what?" Logan asks annoyed.

"can I just talk to Lola.....Please." Logan was big enough to block the doorway so Jack couldn't see us. I look at Colby with a panicked face because I didn't want Jack getting mad but that didn't matter...

"Sure but for 30 minutes only" Logan says sternly. Logan didn't realize me and Colby were on the couch together. He moves aside as Jack walked in with his head down but I was looking at Colby not noticing he was walking to the living room.
