Mystery Unknown

THE DISCOVERY- PART 2

     Jasmine flies through the portal and lands on the grassy ground rolling down a hill. She gets up quickly and watches as the portal disappears. She turns around to see a beautiful forest with trees of different types, birds sing as they fly through the trees.

     She makes her way into the forest looking around. Jasmine stops as she sees a flock of birds fly out of the trees in fright. Jasmine listens closely as she heard a big bam!!! She runs and hides behind a rock then looks closely as the trees fall to make way for something.

      "A giant!!" Jasmine shouted inside her in order not to get the attention of the giant. The giant walks past her as it heads to a cave. Jasmine follows quietly behind hiding behind a rock at any slight second.

     When the giant enters the cave, Jasmine goes into the cave and hides behind a giant rock as she listens in surprise as the giants speak her language fluently. "Am hungry" said the giant she saw earlier

     "Oh stop making noise," said another time with a deeper voice.

     Jasmine leans closer to the edge of the rock to catch a glance of them.

     "If you are so hungry, go out and hunt" shouted the one with a deep voice.

     "Fine, but don't ask for any when I come back," said the one from earlier as it approaches the entrance of the cave. Jasmine stands up straight from where she was hiding and ran the way she came as fast as her legs could carry her.

     She stood where the portal had disappeared, breathing heavily she looks around for an escape route. She looks to her right as she saw something weird about a particular tree.

     She makes her way to the tree as she notices that the tree's bark is peeling off. She finally drags it open and sees a big button.

     " What kind of world is this?" Jasmine wondered how the button got there but she didn't care she needed to go home and fast.

     Hitting the button Jasmine steps away from the tree and watches as the portal appears once again. When it opens fully Jasmine wasted no time as she jumped through and lands back into the basement she turns and sees the portal disappear, she runs out of the basement and closes the trap door back and went back into the school.

     Walking fast through the hallway with whispers around her, she heads to Gabriella's locker. Seeing her talking to her other friends, Jasmine interrupts them.

     "Emm... Gabriella, I need to talk to you", she said looking at her friends then back at her.

     "I'm coming Jas, just a few minutes" she replied not even looking at her.

     "I mean now," she told her almost shouting, at least this time she got her attention. She bid her friends farewell then finally turns to her friend.

     "Well? what's so important that you have to tell me that can't wait?" she asked.

     Jasmine drags her friend to a place where there are fewer people roaming about. She narrates the whole thing to Gabriella as she looks at her with a confused face, when she was done she waited for the whole story to sink in.

     "You don't believe me, do you?" Jasmine asked her friend searching her face.

     "It's not that I don't believe you Jas, it's just that it sounds so unreal," she said trying to reason with her.

     "I knew it, you don't believe me, Gab, come on, am you'll best friend how can you not believe me?"

     Gabriella didn't mind Jasmine's question because she said another thing in total.

     "I don't think you are well Jas, I think you need to see a doctor" she advised her. "What the hell is she saying?" Jasmine thought to herself.

     "I'm totally fine Gab, I don't need a doctor, I only need you to believe me" Jasmine pleased.

     Gabriella didn't say anything. "You know what? I think am wasting my time here, Thanks for everything" Jasmine said to her friend turning around and walking away.

     She couldn't believe her friend didn't believe her. There was only one person to tell, one person she can run to, Austin.
