Sesshomaru and Inuyasha: Forever Brothers

Chapter 8: Injured

Ayamara's P.O.V

I was waiting outside of the hut with Inuyasha's and Sesshomaru's friends. Jaken told me that Sesshomaru went off somewhere to calm himself after the battle. Kaede was inside, treating Inuyasha's wounds. Suddenly, she came out and asked...

"Where's Sesshomaru?"

The others just shrugged their shoulders, but I answered her question...

"He went off somewhere. Why?"

"Inuyasha wants to see him. He wants to talk with him." Kaede answered

"I'll look for him." I said as I stood up and walk away

"Where are you going, Ayamara?" Sango asked

"I'm going to look for Sesshomaru. Kaede said Inuyasha wants to see him." I answered

I left my staff and sword with Jaken and went to look for Sesshomaru. When I reach a cliff, I saw him standing in the peak.

"Lord Sesshomaru!" I called

Sesshomaru turned his head and look at me. His eyes were still upset and emotionless.

"What do you want, Ayamara?" he asked in his cold voice

"I'm here to tell you that Inuyasha was expecting you. I don't know why but I think he wants to tell you something." I answered

Sesshomaru started to walk away as I follow him. He must be angry and upset after Uryomaru did to Inuyasha. When we returned in the hut, Sesshomaru went inside as I sat down with the others outside.

"Why're you upset, Ayamara?" Shippo asked

"I feel sorry about Sesshomaru. He's been upset after Inuyasha was pierced by Uryomaru." I answered

"Don't worry. He'll be okay soon. We're going to continue our travel if Inuyasha will regained his strength." Miroku said

It seems that Inuyasha's friends were so loyal like Jaken. They really love their friend. But, there's only one demon I miss very much. It was my older brother Layumaru. He's more like Sesshomaru with long hair but brown and cold expression sometimes.

Inuyasha's P.O.V

I was lying on the floor totally in pain. My body was bandaged after that dirty demon Uryomaru pierced me. The important thing is Sesshomaru wasn't hurt. I really meant to push him aside because I don't want him to get hurt. I heard footsteps coming towards me. I turned my head and look.

"Sesshomaru?" I said in my weak voice

"You want to see me. Is there something wrong?" Sesshomaru said as he sat beside me

"I want to ask you. Are you mad at me?" I ask

Sesshomaru's eyes widened. He closed his eyes for a few seconds. Instead of answering my question, he asked...

"Why?"

"Why what?" I asked in confusion

"Why did you save me?" Sesshomaru asked

"The truth is I don't want you to get hurt. You almost got killed, so I push you instead." I answered

"Inuyasha. After my years of hatred on you, you haven't notice how cruel you've experienced because of me?" Sesshomaru asked in a serious tone

I sat up to face him. I don't care my wound hurts, all I wanted is to face Sesshomaru because of his mistakes.

"Doesn't matter that. Even though how many times you tried to kill me, I don't want to fight you." I answered

Sesshomaru avoided me. But, I hold his hand and he looked at me with his sad eyes.

"Sesshomaru. I still love you. You're not just my half-brother. You're my older brother. And I'm happy that I still have you." I said

Sesshomaru's eyes were glassy.

"Is he crying?" I thought

Suddenly, Sesshomaru wrapped his arms around me as buried his face on my left shoulder and cried.

"Inuyasha. Forgive me. I'm sorry that I've hurt you for very long time. I always wanted to be with you, but I failed. Little brother. Our times being brothers is all I wanted." Sesshomaru cried

I can feel my tears fell in my eyes. I have no choice but to hug him back as I buried my face in his fluff.

"I love you, Inuyasha." Sesshomaru said

My eyes widened. I smiled as my face was still buried.

"I love you too, Sesshomaru." I said

That night, Sesshomaru slept beside me. It seems that his eyes were beautiful when they're closed. The next morning, I feel much better. I wear my Robe of the Fire Rat and went outside. Sesshomaru and my friends were waiting outside. Our adventure continued until we hunt Naraku down.
