Chapter 21: A Difficult Moment

Inu Kimi's P.O.V

I heard that my son's younger brother died only for him to kill Naraku's reincarnation. I decided to pay them a visit in their father's old castle. When I got there, I saw two youngsters: A taijya and a miko.

"Is that Sesshomaru's mother?" the taijya asked.

"I think so." the miko answered.

I walk over to the two ladies and asked

"Is Sesshomaru here?"

"Yes, my lady. He's inside." the miko answered.

I went inside when I found two of Sesshomaru's companions: the little girl which had grown into a young lady and the imp demon.

"Lady Inu Kimi? What are you doing here?" the imp demon asked.

I just remember his name was Jaken. He must be Sesshomaru's loyal assistant. And the girl must be Rin.

"I came here to see Sesshomaru." I answered.

"My lady. I think this is not the right time for you to talk to him." Jaken said.

"Why is that?" I asked.

"He have been locked in his room for how many days. He even doesn't come out sometimes." Rin said

"Why?" I asked

"Because, he thinks that his younger brother Inuyasha died after he defeat Ayura." Jaken said

"Inuyasha fall off the cliff so he can let Sesshomaru defeat Ayura." Rin said

"Take me to his room." I said

Jaken led me to Sesshomaru's room. It still the same room where he and his half-brother used to sleep together sometimes.

"Here you go, mi lady." Jaken said

"Thank you, Jaken." I said

After Jaken left, I knocked on Sesshomaru's door.

"Sesshomaru. It's me. I need to talk to you." I said

Suddenly, the door slid open. I went inside and I found him in his bed. His knees tucked together as his arms wrapped around and tuck his head between his knees.

"Sesshomaru. I know it's hard for you that you only killed the enemy because she killed your brother." I said

"Why is it to be him?" he asked

"My dear. He only risked his life for you. And besides, he doesn't want to see you shed tears." I said

Sesshomaru looked at me with his cold, glassy golden eyes. He never cried before after his little companion died long ago and I bring her back.

"Don't worry, my dear child. He'll return soon. He'll be with you again." I said as I hugged him.

Sesshomaru's P.O.V

My mother and I went to the highest part of the castle to talk some things lately.

"And how did you know that Inuyasha was still alive?" I asked

"I just know that he's still alive. Do you believe that your only brother is dead, Sesshomaru?" she asked

"How can possibly that he's still alive after he fell over the cliff?" I asked

"And you really believe that?" she asked

"What do you mean?" I asked

"Inuyasha risked his life because he wants you to kill Ayura. In other words, he sacrificed himself for you." she answered

My eyes widened. It's just like how he saved me from Uryomaru long ago.

"I'm afraid that he saved you twice. You're lucky that you still have him. What if he's not here? You're alone." my mother said and she left.

I had a strange feeling about this. Is Inuyasha still alive?

*Sesshomaru was getting worried about Inuyasha's sake. He thinks that Inuyasha might not return. Will Inuyasha return home and reunite with Sesshomaru again? Next chapter coming up. Don't forget to vote and comment on this page. Tnx*
