The next day, the group continued their journey to find the youkai. Layumaru noticed that Parskamaru looked depressed. So, he went over to talk to him. "What's wrong, Parskamaru?" Layumaru asked. "I'm fine." Parskamaru answered. "It seems that you're quite sad. You're still thinking how you and Jiamara can get along?" Layumaru asked. "Yes, I am. I don't know what am i going to do with her." Parskamaru said. "Don't worry. She'll change her mind about you." Layumaru said.
Meanwhile, Jaken was busy on his conversation with Sesshomaru, Inuyasha and Rin. "What's your problem, master Jaken?" Rin asked. "I had a strange feeling towards that Phoenix demon. It seems that him and his sister wouldn't get along." Jaken said. "It sounds like lord Sesshomaru and Inuyasha long ago." Rin said. "Jiamara still thinks that Parskamaru really meant to leave her 60 years ago during the war between Sesshomaru and the great demon." Inuyasha said. "Lord Sesshomaru. Do you think that you might have a solution on the Phoenix siblings?" Jaken asked
"I don't care about those two demons' problems. They need to solve their problem on their own." Sesshomaru answered. "Maybe there may be a case that those two phoenix will get along like how Inuyasha forgive you." Jaken said. "It seems that you have a point there, Jaken. Do you think that, Sesshomaru?" Inuyasha said. Sesshomaru was a silent awhile. "Jiamara needs to find a way to forgive her brother. Not like the way you forgive me, little brother." Sesshomaru answered
Suddenly, they felt a strong demon aura coming towards them. "A strong aura." Kagome said. "Yeah. It's coming towards us." Sango said. Suddenly, a youkai appeared before them. The youkai has a tribal mark on his forehead and purple markings like Inu No Taisho on his cheeks. Inuyasha and Sesshomaru hold their sword hilt tightly. "A youkai." Sango said. "This is what the old woman said to us." Ayamara said. "Lord Sesshomaru." the youkai said. Sesshomaru, Inuyasha and the others were confused. How did the demon know Sesshomaru?
"The name's Myora. I'm a youkai from another place. Naraku sent me to kill every one last of you!" the youkai yelled. Myora attacked Sesshomaru first, but Sesshomaru quickly blocked Myora with his Bakusaiga. "Nice sword you have. Do you recognize my sword's power is like your Tokijin?" Myora said. "I have no intention of talking to a bastard such as yourself." Sesshomaru said. Meanwhile, Inuyasha and his friends were fighting with the demons Naraku sent to destruct them. "This is useless! Myora only want to face Sesshomaru on his own while we're stuck fighting Naraku's minions!" Ayamara said
"Inuyasha! Why don't you help Sesshomaru? It seems that Myora was trying to kill him!" Layumaru said. "Fine." Inuyasha said. Inuyasha ran towards Myora and release the wind scar. "Wind scar!" Inuyasha yelled. Sesshomaru sees the wind scar and directly push Myora in the way. Myora sees the wind scar and blocked it with his sword. "Well. Well. Well. It seems that this half-breed joined the fight? How interesting." Myora said. "Who are you calling "half-breed", you bastard?" Inuyasha yelled. Myora jumped on the other side. "It seems that you are Sesshomaru's younger brother. Inuyasha,right?" Myora asked.
Inuyasha tried again to attack Myora by using the wind scar again when Myora kicked him and land his face first in the ground. Myora laughed and look at Sesshomaru. "Isn't it nice to see your brother suffer, Sesshomaru? I have only one question for you." Myora said. "What is that?" Sesshomaru asked. Myora grinned. "Do you have someone to protect?" he asked. Sesshomaru's eyes widened. This is the same question his father asked him long ago before he died.
"Why are you still asking me that?" Sesshomaru asked. "Nothing. I just find out that there are two persons who are precious to you." Myora said. Sesshomaru knew what Myora is talking about. The two persons he mentioned was Inuyasha and Rin. "I see. You have two people you were protecting." Myora said. Sesshomaru looked at Myora with his fearless eyes. "Do not put the persons in this problem, you bastard!" Sesshomaru yelled. Sesshomaru start attacking Myora. Inuyasha tried to stood up, but his strength is gone. It seems that Myora struck him really hard.
As Sesshomaru block Myora's sword, he said. "Those two persons change my hatred towards them. One is a mere human with a brave heart. And the other one is a half-demon which should be my only younger brother I loved!" Sesshomaru yelled. Inuyasha and Rin can't believe what they've heard. Sesshomaru was trying to protect them, that's why he wants to fight Myora alone. Myora scratched Sesshomaru's left arm as Sesshomaru also scratched his left arm.
"Those weaklings made you weak. They're nothing but a bunch of weak humans and pathetic demons such as yourself!" Myora said. Sesshomaru can't hold his anger anymore. He wanted Myora dead for insulting Inuyasha and Rin.
*Myora asked Sesshomaru the same question of his father that of he still had someone to protect. Sesshomaru realized that he had two persons he really loved. One is the human girl who changed his hatred into compassion and love and the half-demon which should be his younger brother he hated long ago. Myora was insulting Sesshomaru by saying that his group were a bunch of weaklings and pathetic demons.*
