The group left the castle to find the demon who sent them the message. As they're walking in the Osara Forest, trees started to make strange noises. Vines moved like snakes. "Ohh. This forest creeps me out." Shippo said. "It seems that some kind of demon was controlling this forest." Kagome said. "It may be some kind of plant or earth demon." Rin said
"Osara Forest was a beautiful forest once, but it was destroyed by a plant demon named Ayura." Jiamara said. "Ayura?" Miroku said. "She destroyed this forest and turns out to be her home. She started to controlling the trees, vines and plants. If a person passed by, one of the trees might turn into some kind of monster and devoured the person alive." Jiamara said. "Ayura. Sounds like Asura." Miroku said. "Ayura and Asura worked together with Naraku as two of Naraku's reincarnation. Asura was a hair demon because she cut the demon and human heads for their hair and turns out to be her weapon. Ayura is a plant demon because she was sucking the plants' nutrients so she can control them." Jiamara said
"Wait. That scroll had appeared was tied with a vine string. Do you think that scroll came from Ayura?" Rin asked. "I don't know." Jiamara said. "If she wrote that message, how did she know about Sesshomaru?" Ayamara asked. "That's why we need to find her to know the reason." Jiamara said. When they reach the cliff, it was quite. "Where is that demon?" Inuyasha said, holding the Tessaiga's hilt tightly. Suddenly, large tree roots grew from the ground and trapped Kagome and the others inside. "Kagome." Inuyasha said. "We're fine, Inuyasha. We're only trapped in here." Miroku said.
Suddenly, they heard somebody laughing behind them. "Who's there?" Inuyasha yelled. The demon finally revealed herself. She had two big horns on her head, pointed ears, brown eyes, long brown hair and fair skin. She was wearing plant-type dress and gloves which her long nails poke through. Her legs were tattooed with detailed plant roots and snake crawling on her arm. "What do you think, Inu brothers? It seems you're quite surprise when I trap you're friends." the demon said. "It doesn't matter a fact. Who are you?" Sesshomaru asked.
"Good question. The name's Ayura and I'm a plant demon." the demon answered. Inuyasha unsheathed the Tessaiga and hold it tightly. Sesshomaru also, holding the Bakusaiga's hilt tightly. "I'm surprise that you accept my message." Ayura said. "You. You're the one who sent that?" Inuyasha asked. "Yes. I must say that I had seen what is Sesshomaru's weakness." Ayura said. "You dirty witch! I should ripped you to pieces right now! Inuyasha yelled as he release the wind scar. "Root shield." Ayura chanted as the roots surrounded her like a shield. "Meido Zangetsuha!" Inuyasha yelled as the meido zangetsuha blades cut through the shield, destroying it.
"You worthless half-breed! You destroyed my shield. You should be pierced with these! Spear of Vines!" Ayura yelled and release the vines, but Inuyasha dodged it. "Arms of Roots!" Ayura chanted. This time, the thundering power of the Bakusaiga destroyed the roots. "You." Ayura said as she look at Sesshomaru. "You really think that you can dodged that power? Pathetic." Sesshomaru said.
"It seems that you wanted to fight me on your own? Wonderful. Sword of Vines." Ayura said as the vine turned into a sword. "Incredible." Miroku said. "She can turn any plants into a weapon." Sango said. "Ohh. Be careful, lord Sesshomaru!" Jaken cried. Sesshomaru and Inuyasha were left to defeat Ayura on their own. "You can't release your friends if you killed me." Ayura said with a smirk. "Well then. You should die and rest your life in the underworld!" Sesshomaru yelled and start darting towards Ayura. Ayura quickly blocked the Bakusaiga and looked at Sesshomaru. "My. My. You're strong. But, not as strong as your brother. " Ayura said.
"You think that Sesshomaru is a weakling such as yourself, you cursed witch!" Inuyasha yelled. "Even though how many times you destroyed the barrier, you'll never break through." Ayura said. "A barrier? That's the reason why Sesshomaru and I can't break through easily." Inuyasha thought. Inuyasha turned his Tessaiga red and start running towards Ayura's barrier. "Red Tessaiga!" Inuyasha yelled and break the plant barrier. Sesshomaru ran towards Ayura as they clash each others swords.
As soon Sesshomaru dodged Ayura's attack, he deeply slashed Ayura's back with the Bakusaiga, like he did to Asura. The same thing caught his attention. The spider mark on her back. "Another one of Naraku's reincarnation?" Sesshomaru asked. "Are you surprise? The spider mark seems confusing you." Ayura said. "Silence!" Sesshomaru yelled as Ayura dodged his attack. "I'm afraid that I can't let you live like this! You should die and take your head to Naraku!" Ayura yelled. Ayura started throwing branches at Inuyasha and Sesshomaru.
"You Inu brothers can't ran away from me!" Ayura yelled as she kept throwing branches at the two brothers. Sesshomaru and Inuyasha landed on the top of the tallest rock. "Do you think we still have a chance to defeat her?" Inuyasha asked. "What else. She's a monster." Sesshomaru said.
