Chapter 30: Forgive Me

Inuyasha's P.O.V

We'll never make in the Western Lands and Sesshomaru is dying. So, we just stopped in a nearby forest. We lay Sesshomaru in the tree. His kimono was stained with blood. Damn it. Why didn't he just let me kill Myora?

"His wound was deep. We can't cure this." Ayamara said

I was looking at Ayamara when Sesshomaru grabbed my hand.

"What's wrong?" I asked

"Forgive me. I shouldn't let myself being killed." Sesshomaru said

"There's nothing to forgive. You did what you can only to protect me and Rin." I said

"You really think that?" Sesshomaru asked

"Of course. I was proud that you did that for us. But,..." I said

I stopped talking because tears started to flow from my eyes. I felt something holding my cheek. I looked at Sesshomaru with pain in his golden eyes.

"The reason why I kill Myora because I don't want him to hurt you again." Sesshomaru said

"Onii-san." I cried

"Little brother. Our time being brothers is all I wanted. Now, my time has passed." Sesshomaru said

I hold Sesshomaru's hand tightly. My tears won't stop flowing. Rin bent down with sorrow in her eyes.

"Lord Sesshomaru." Rin said

"Forgive me, Rin. I did everything to protect you since when you're a kid. Now, you've grown up. You need to protect yourself." Sesshomaru said

"Sesshomaru." I said

Sesshomaru looked at me. It looks like the pain avoid me to talk.

"I...I don't want you to die." I cried

"Inuyasha. I'll always be with you." Sesshomaru said

"Onii-san." I said

"Inuyasha?" Sesshomaru said

"I...I love you." I said

Sesshomaru could barely cry as he snuggled in my kimono.

"Inuyasha." Sesshomaru cried

My chest hurts a lot. I can see that he's passing away. I couldn't barely let go.

"Goodbye, Inuyasha. I hope you still remember all my care for you." Sesshomaru said and went limp in my arms

I could barely punch the ground. This can't be happening. I lose him once. Now, I lost him again. I lost the only member of my family I have.

Suddenly, a bright light appeared before us. Myoga grabbed my kimono so he won't flew away. When we opened our eyes, we can't believe who we saw.

"Father?" I gasped

A demon with the same appearance of Sesshomaru appeared before us with long white hair and golden eyes. The armour was still on his chest.

"Is that Lord Inu No Taisho? Lord Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's father?" Jaken asked

"That's right." Myoga said

"What's he doing here?" Rin asked

"Inuyasha. I see that you're quite sad. What happened?" Father asked

"Sesshomaru is dead. I can't bring him back with the Tenseiga." I said

"I see. It seems that Myora had killed him." Father said

"What's the reason you came here?" I asked

Father just smiled. How I wish I could see that again.

"I came here to bring him back." he said

All of us were surprised. I can't hold the Tenseiga, but father would bring Sesshomaru back. I wanted to bring him back, so this is my chance.

"Do what you must." I said

Father went over and open Sesshomaru's mouth a little. He put a fire-like magic inside and let Sesshomaru swallow. Then, he said...

"Wake up, Sesshomaru."

I can hear his heart beating again. Blood flow freely in his veins. His chest pumped out to let some air. Sesshomaru blinked his eyes.

"Sesshomaru?" I said

"Lord Sesshomaru? You're back!" Jaken yelled

Sesshomaru coughed as I help him to stand up. He looked at me with worried eyes.

"Inuyasha." Sesshomaru said

"You're alive." I said

"Inuyasha. Who brought me back?" Sesshomaru asked

"Don't asked me." I said looking at father's spirit

"Father?" Sesshomaru said

"Sesshomaru. I'm so glad that you're okay. I brought you back because I know that these loyal friends of yours needs you. They want you to fight with them again." Father said

"Thank you." Sesshomaru said
After their father's spirit disappeared, I asked...

"You want to hunt some more?"

"We should take a break." Sesshomaru said

"Okay. If you say so." I said

I'm so glad that he's back. What if I really lose him? It doesn't matter. The important thing is he's with us again.

Naraku's P.O.V

Damn it. Myora's dead. He's one of my strongest reincarnation and he was killed by Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru was also dead. But, his father's spirit brought him back. That half-breed and their human friends ruined all my plans. So, I called my stronger reincarnation, Laraku.

"You're looking for me, my lord. What can I do for you?" Laraku asked

"I want you to kill the Inu brothers and their weak human companions." I said

"Inu brothers? You mean Sesshomaru and his half-demon brother Inuyasha?" he asked

"Yes. I want you to annihilate them once and for all." I said

"Okay. What's the reason why you want me to destroy them?" Laraku asked

"Those brothers especially the young demon lord ruined my plans for killing his only brother. Instead, he ask the half-demon's forgiveness." I said

"Okay. So. You want me to kill them or kill Inuyasha alone?" Laraku asked

"All of them. With the dragon and phoenix siblings and their weak human friends." I said

"As you wish." Laraku said

"Make sure you also can't end up like Myora. Sesshomaru will kill you with one blow of his Bakusaiga." I said

Laraku nodded and left.

"Prepare to meet your doom, Sesshomaru. You and Inuyasha will rest your lives in the underworld." I thought

*Sesshomaru died after his battle with Myora. Inuyasha can't accept his brother's death. Sesshomaru only died for him and Rin. Rin also loves Sesshomaru like a father or brother for caring her since she was a child. When Inu No Taisho's soul showed up, Inuyasha begged to bring his brother's life back. Inu No Taisho understand Inuyasha's problem. When Sesshomaru came to life again, Inuyasha couldn't barely thank his father, also Sesshomaru. When Naraku finds out that Sesshomaru is alive, he sent his another reincarnation named Laraku after Myora was defeated to kill the Inu brothers and their friends.*
