3 months later, April 16th... (Friday)

George and Cora were finally locked up for life.

Curtesy of August, a lawyer was hired to make sure they never saw daylight again.

After that things steadied on campus. No more bullying. No more cruel words and shoves to the ground.

Emma actually made some friends, and seeing her so happy made Killian's heart nearly burst.

She was finally getting to live a normal life. The life she always deserted. As for him? Well, Killian was just glad to have Emma by his side without a death threat hanging over her head.

The two of them took up guitar lessons together, expanding their musical capabilities to further enhance their chances of gaining roles in the future.

Not only that, but dancing classes which were so much fun. A time the couple could simply escape from the world and do something fun together.

Emma had been clean since the day everything began to work out again and nobody was more proud of her than herself. She'd risen above all the challenges life had thrown on her.

Emma smiled to herself, currently backstage. She recalled the morning she woke up after the whole fiasco.

She felt his arms around her. Comforting and warm.

She didn't want to move. She didn't want to do anything.

Killian was awake, tracing soft circles on her back as he watched her chest rise and fall steadily.

She turned to face his chest, snuggling up to him.

"Killian?" She whispered. She wasn't sure if this was real.

"Hm?" Killian hummed, hugging her to him and laying a soft kiss on her forehead.

Emma let her eyes flutter open slightly, the corners of her mouth turning up slightly when she saw Killian looking down at her with nothing but love in his eyes.

This was real. He loved her. He wasn't going to leave.

"How am I supposed to go out there today?" Emma said in a broken voice.

Killian paused before smiling thoughtfully.

"Emma a beautiful and wise woman once told me... 'whatever's bothering you, it's gonna be okay in the end. And if it's not okay yet... we'll, then it's not the end.' Emma, my love, you were right. This will all work out," Killian smiled.

Emma didn't answer.

Instead she tucked herself into his chest tightly, hiding away from the world's wrath with his arms to protect her.

And she drowned in his love.

Emma smiled at the memory. Everything did turn out amazing after all.
