I've been having so much fun writing this, and I really want to say thank you to everybody who is taking the time to read :) Here's the next chapter for ya!

2 weeks later...

Stress.

It was absolutely consuming both Emma and Killian.

Two weeks ago, they'd gone through with their auditions for The Pirate And The Princess. The cast list was to be posted any day now and it was eating the couple alive.

Between managing to keep up with classes, as well as familiarizing themselves with their characters from the Broadway production in hopes of getting the part, they kept busy.

Busy, but they were slowly going mad.

There they were, Friday afternoon the week before Thanksgiving, their break having started that day due to the holiday, and they both awaited letters anxiously.

"Two weeks, Robin, it's been a total of two sodding weeks! Last I checked, it isn't that difficult to decide between seven bloody people!!" Killian exclaimed loudly when he saw that none of the mail to their dorm included the cast list.

"Alright, I think you need a break. You're getting too antsy for my taste, mate. Party at Neal and James' place off campus tonight, you're coming," Robin insisted.

"But-"

"No buts. You're accompanying me and that is final."

Emma had a similar reaction to the lack of news.

"Mary, did you get the mail?!"

"Yeah it's right-"

Emma had snatched it up before she could finish her sentence.

She rummaged through the pile, looking for one with her name on it, but none appeared.

"Ugh! How long does it take to pick a damn actress!" Emma complained.

"Emma, the more you obsess over it, the more anxious you're gonna get. You have to get your mind off of it. Why don't you come with me tonight? James and Neal are having a party and I'm going with Belle and Anna. Join us," Mary-Margret suggested.

"A party? You know that's not my scene, I'm just gonna end up sitting alone on the side the whole night," Emma muttered.

"Come on, just this once? For me?"

"Fine... So, James, huh?" Emma smirked suggestively.

"Stop it," Mary-Margret scolded.

"Oh come on, you've had the hots for him for three years," Emma giggled.

"Emma!"

"It's true! I see the way you look st him," Emma continued with a genuine smile, no longer teasing.

"Can we drop it?" Mary asked.

"Sure, by you can't deny-"

"I said stop! God, why do you have to be such a brat!" Mary shouted.

Emma paused, taken aback. She swallowed, feeling the tears well up in her eyes.

Before Killian, Mary-Margret was the only person not to call her names. Not to shout at her. To be kind.
