Year: 1987

The boys were out on the bored walk, looking for their next meal, weather it was fast food or slow food. They would get them either way. But there was something different about tonight. They all noticed David acting a little off more the usual. No one wanted to say anything to him, fearing that he might just rip their heads off, but sooner or later one of them would crack and ask and of course Paul would be the one to crack first.

"David, man what's wrong with you tonight?" Paul asked putting his hand on David's shoulder only to take it off a second later when David glared at him.

"Nothings wrong, Paul." David said in a low murmur. He looked around at the others only to repeat, "Nothings wrong."

They all looked at David, they knew he was hiding something.

Hours went by and the guys fed and partied, they did what they do every night.

But David was missing, he left in the shadows as the others were feeding. He needed to be alone, he needed to get away from those idiots for a while.

He got on his bike and took off, letting the shadows and the moon take him to the place he needed to be, Grey Wood Cemetery.

Walking through the old rusted gates his mind was on one thing: Nina.

His legs carried him passed the dead that he didn't care about, passed gothic statues and worn down mausoleums. Finally in the back by the dying willow tree, he saw her resting place.

Her headstone was worn away, its only been twenty-eight years to the day. But he could still read what was craved into the stone:

In Memory of Nina Rain Lewis 1942-1959.

David bent down in front of her grave, he had a smirk on his face.

"I don't know why I keep giving you these." He paused for a moment looking at her resting place, "The others never seem to die." He placed a red rose on top of the others he left there years ago.

"I guess what they say is true." He said lifting one of the roses to his face. "Roses for eternal love. I guess even in death our love is still there."
