Chapter 8

Mina's POV

"Mina I'm going home now, wanna come?" Ro asks, I do a fake smile. Everyone was hitting it off with there favorite Naruto characters.

"Haha no thanks I'll keep practicing." I stated shooting another arrow.

"Okay if you say so" Ro says as Kiba and Akamaru with his little doggie girlfriend are waiting for her at the entrance. "Hey Kiba what up?"

"Oh nothing much Ro. I wonder if last nights dinner is still in the freezer" Kiba asks I chuckle when they disappear. When I ran out of arrows I sighed and went to get them but tripped.

"Mina-chan you alright?" I open my eyes to see Ian Misaki. He's a year older than me and is 3 year champion at judo.

"Hai Ian-kun, I'm fine" I stated as he put me on my bench. A small blush crept up my cheeks. "Um Ian-Kun what are you doing here? Judo ended an hour ago." I stated curiously. He smiled at me handing me my arrows.

"I was practicing more on my judo"

"Oh, well thank you Ian-kun" I said accepting my arrows.

"Hey Mina-chan I was thinking maybe you would like to....go out sometimes?" He asked I looked up shocked blushing madly.

"Uh ah. Sure Ian-kun" I accepted still in a state of shock. He chuckled,

"Let me walk ya home. Least I could do for startling you" Ian said. I blushed my famous cherry blush.

"H-hai" I mumbled as I went into the girls changing room. I packed up my things and headed towards waiting Ian. "Ian-ku-"

"Just call me Ian. Mina-chan" Ian states. I laugh a little as we walked

"Okay Ian but call me Cherry then my sisters do" I tease as he laughs as I emphasize Ian into an exaggerated tone. We had a good chat, "so when do you wanna meet?" I asked he looked at me confused then it hit him. I laughed at him.

"Oh yeah I'll pick you up at 4:30 tomorrow. That alright?" He asked rubbing he's neck nervously. I giggled at this as a blush crept up my cheeks again. "Hai! It's alright Ian" I said smiling at him as he smiles brightly and walked away then he hit a pole. I laughed as he still was trying to act cool. Soon the door opens by my sisters smiling excitedly.

"OMG! You just got asked out!" They squealed. "Tell us everything" Lili commanded pulling me in the house. I laughed and told them what happen.

"Let's see we must get her ready by tomorrow!" Lila stated everyone nodded as they went into my room rummaging what I'm gonna wear tomorrow. Since it's the weekend. I went into the kitchen to get a snack when Kiba and Naruto come to me with stars in their eyes it scared me a little.

"Hehe can I help you Naruto? Kiba?" I asked.

"So are you really going on a date!?" They asked me bombing question after question. I sweatdropped lightly as I answered their question as best as I could. Then I see a silver haired ninja and excuse myself to my room telling them I wanted to take a shower and do my homework when we didn't have any.

When I was fully washed up and changed I saw what my sisters laid out and smiled. They always knew how to cheer me up no matter what, and they knew my style too. I saw a black top with a gray hoodie. And faded blue jeans with my favorite black sneakers.

"(Sighs) really. I would think they knew me better than I know myself" I thought aloud

"Which is true we do know you better than you know yourself" my sisters say appearing hug attacking me I laugh. This is the most I've laughed all week.

"Thanks guys now go so we can all sleep not all of us have the luxury of having boyfriends that are anime characters. And live with them." I stated pushing them out. Tomorrow was a big day and I didn't want to spoil it with me being tired even if the dates at 4.

The next day

I prepared myself and did everything twice making sure it was going to go perfectly. Soon 4 o'clock came soon. I slid on the stairs landing swiftly... Or as swiftly as I could. "Hiya Ian!" I said opening the doors to reveal him. He smiled and nodded his head.

"Would de Madame like to come with me?" He asked in a posh voice extending his hand I laughed at his imitation of a rich person. Even if my adoptive family was rich me and my sisters never acted in such a way.

"Well if you insist" I said with the same imitation and taking his hand. He also laughed leading me to his car too. "where are we headed off now?" I asked curious.

"You'll see" was all he said driving to the park. We had a good time playing frisbee, basketball, and catch. When we were done with that it was already seven. We ate at a pastry shop. When we were completely done we went back to my house.

"That was great." I said

"Yeah maybe we could hang some more" Ian said.

"Ian I really did have a great time but..."

"You too? I thought I was the only one who thought that even if this was a good hangout.."

"That ya didn't feel it?" I finished he nodded "maybe we could be friends then Ian?" I asked doing a closed eye smile. He smiled back nodding.

"Yeah. Your one cool girl. Whoo I thought this was going to be awkward" he said. I laughed at him Ian was really a sweet guy but he wasn't my type of guy I would ask to be my boyfriend.

"I know right?" I said punching his arm playfully.

"Ow. For a girl you can hit hard" Ian stated. I pouted when I got to the door.

"What that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing" he stated putting up his hand in surrender. I laughed as we said goodbye. I was soon greeted by anxious faces.

"I'll tell you guys but let me get ready for bed." I stated as they were about to bomb me with questions after questions. When I was done my sisters, Hinata, Naruto, Kiba, Shino. Even Akamaru with his girlfriend that we adopted in the family a week ago. Akamaru brought her home, the poor dog was starving and my sisters did the reasonable thing as she didn't have a collar...

We named her Susie and adopted her as one of us. I soon spilled that Ian wasn't the guy for me but we would still be friends though. They looked surprised but were really happy that I had a great time.
