Kakashi's POV

I knew she was lying. Since she said she was my apprentice.

Though Sakura confirmed I was teaching her, she didn't outright agree with her statement and instead was quite surprised. There was also the sister that looked confused at why this girl was so 'sad'. Sakura also gave her an apology, and even before that the pinkette was about to spill something.

Mina was something to me. Apprentice was not it. But if she wanted to play a game, I'll play along and catch her in the lie.

Right now she was red faced as she was trying to explain why we didn't train much. Now I have many questions but one of the main one is why would I accept this Kenka as an apprentice?

"Ah, I see" she looks up grimacing "so you let words get to you easily, very unbefitting of a future Konoha kunoichi" she turns into another extreme red. Really it was almost cute.

"Hm, I'm sorry. I realized my mistake, I'm sorry" looks like she did not take criticism well. She was staring at my wrapped up wounds with almost tears in her eyes. "Hey, Hey. I'll be alright. Your Sensei is much more tougher than that" ruffling her hair, surprisingly it's very comforting and familiar.

"I know" she whispers "doesn't hurt any less" her answer surprised me. This girl. She subconsciously acts intimate. She leans in to my touch as I simply let my hand stay there.

"Chin up Kenka-san" she freezes. She gently takes off my hand from her head. "Something wrong?" She shakes her head trying to smile

"I'm not use to it" tilting my head confused her answer was very vague.

"Explain"

"Well, I use to go by Mina Blue, going back Kenka kinda solidified my sisters and I are a clan" hmm. That seemed to be her vocal reasoning. I wonder what's really bothering her.

"Well if you're more comfortable with Blue, I can call you that" She shakes her head. "Did I use to call you by first name?" Flinching she nods. "Ah, why didn't you voice that then?" She gives a quiet strangled cry, almost like a laugh.

"Sorry, no it's okay. You're still recovering. I'll..." she takes a long pause before giving a Naruto smile "I'll go with whatever Sensei is comfortable" she stands up "sorry Sensei I need to..." she hesitates to spit something out. "I need to go, I'll visit soon" she closes the door. She tries to suppress her chakra but fails miserably.

Damn. Was I really a bad teacher? Or is something else going on here?

Sighing I decide to sleep and rest. The faster I heal the faster I can get home.

Geez, I hate hospitals. Slipping into a pleasant dream.

Dream:

There was a familiar dark haired girl. She holds me close or was that me? She must of fallen because she chuckles nervously

"Thanks Kashi"

"You're welcome clumsy smurf" what's a smurf? The scene skips over to happy laughter and giggling.

Another scene opens up. The strange girl was in another outfit, there was also fire works. She flushes as if I must of said something to have flustered her.

"Yeah I guess" she replies nervously twiddling her thumbs, it was endearing to watch her become so flustered and knowing I was the one to do it "hehe so how was the food" chuckling while shaking my head for the obvious answer I lean in as does she. This girl was so familiar, but I couldn't even think of it right now. We are so very close.
