Mina's POV

Waking up in a hospital bed again to a beautiful sunrise was always good. Even better was that today was my day off.

Two weeks of Training Hell was enough for Kakashi to say a few days of rest was good for now. Thank the heavens for that! Any longer and I might of snapped into joining the Akatsuki with Willow and Ume.

Trying to move was painful but doable. Every muscle screamed no until hitting the showers. It was so refreshing that every ache started to simply wash away with every drop of warm splashing water.

After the longest shower I have ever taken I start to head out towards Sakura's place grabbing my things on the way. She was semi wet and holding some scrolls, she was about to open the door when she notices me.

"Ah? Ara, Mina-Chan? You're here this early?"

"Yes Ah, if it's alright, as long as you'll still have me" she pokes my head annoyed much like Itachi would do to Sasuke.

"Of course you can still stay, I said so didn't I? Stay as long as you want. Actually-" she pauses looking around tensing immensely, having a mini panic attack.

"Sa-Sakura?" The pinkette shakes her head and pulls me in scrolls still in her arms. "Sakura you're worrying me"

"Sorry it's just...I'm on edge" she admits. "Today's my day off I was thinking staying in for today" she was obviously nervous about something.

"Sounds good, maybe Kakashi-Sensei won't find me here for awhile"

Giggling at that we both take off our shoes, tucking them neatly in a corner we go to her room. "I'm going to shower feel free to make yourself at home." She takes a few things before leaving. Pulling out a sleeping bag from a scroll I set it up near the window.

"Hmm, if we're only going to stay in all day..." taking out one of Kakashi's shirts I took from Our-his house, adding some acrylic black shorts with dog decorated knee high socks. It was a few minutes, Sakura was still in the shower that I decided to brush my past shoulder length hair.

When Sakura came in she grinned at the trouble I was having with taming the beast that was my hair.

"Here let me help" she takes the brush and starts to comb out gently. It was relaxing. "Your hair is so smooth and fluffy Mina-Chan"

"Thanks, I was thinking of cutting it shorter"

"Really? Why?"

"It's uneven and I want a new style"

"Is that all?" She laughs "You don't mind if I do your hair do you?"

"Yeah, And no, go right ahead it feels nice" chuckling I feel Sakura braiding my hair on both sides of my head

"Do you have any hair ties or something to tie this together?" She asks

"I should have something in my bag, also the scrolls just have dirty and clean clothes, and of course my tech"

"Gotcha" she holds on to my hair gently getting my bag close. She rummages through it pausing. "Is this one okay? It's all I could find" she shows a decorative hair tie. Wetness starts to stain my cheeks. "Mina? Are you okay? I can find something else-"

"No." A smile starts to grow "it's okay, just good memories is all. Please use this"

"Okay then" she tied it all together, humming she moves away a little. "Finished" going to look at a mirror she had in the room, the two braids were two fishtails with the Hatake and Kenka symbol hair tie pulling it together.
