Chapter 9

Kakashi's POV a few hours before Mina's date.

"Feeling a little jealous?" Kisame asked me taughtingly. I just stared daggers into him. Whoo if looks could kill.

"Shut up Kisame" I growled. he smirks and walks away. it's been a week since Mina's talked to me and she doesn't come out her room much and if she does I have no idea how she gets out without having to use the stairs.

I hear a door bell ring. "hiya Ian!" Mina greets very cheery.

"Would the Madame like to come with me?" the guy named Ian mimicked a rich lord. Mina laughs and responds a "if you insist" with the same tone. and he laughed leading her to his car.

"Sulking won't do ya any good" Lila states behind me. I flinch back, she's been staring daggers at me for 2 weeks. even though I'm older than her and can easily take her on, I'm still afraid of her. Heck! She has the same aurora as lady Tsunade when she's serious.

Plus I don't feel like getting tortured by Itachi again with his Mangekeyō sharingan. she looked satisfied with her work of scaring the crap out of me. well all the sisters scared the crap outta me, they had this weird vibe that said 'don't mess with us' behind those pretty little smiles. I shuddered at the thought.

Although the only sister who doesn't scare the crap outta me is Mina. I have no idea why. but it seems like Naruto once said (with a surprisingly wisdom I didn't know he had) "it feels like I can be 'myself' around that special person" he must of been thinking of Hinata because he blurted out the opposite of what he was thinking. (Sighs) really that boy will be the death of me.

I was just there reading Icha Icha praradise book trying to get my mind off things when Mina comes home. everyone starts to ask her questions but she blows them off until she takes a shower and is dressed for bed. when she was done everyone was already there, demanding answers.

Mina says that Ian and her would just be friends nothing else. I was relieved.

Wait what? why am I relieved she can date whoever she pleases for all I care.

"Do you really think that?" Lili asks. I jump a little.

"Did I voice that comment out loud?" I asked. she nodded I groaned hitting my head on the wall but I didn't care really.

"You were jealous of Ian when he took her out. I saw it in your eyes" she states leaving. they all do when they were done talking to Mina. I secretly slipped in without anyone noticing me.

"(Sighs) really. you would think I was getting married" she huffed getting her journal. she then presses a book and then the walls open. my mouth is a gape when I slip in still unnoticed.

Mina's POV

I was carrying my journal that had a pencil. and tripped with a big thud! I groaned. "good thing this passage is soundproof." I mumble and was about continue walking when someone pins me down on the floor. "WTH!?" I cried out.

I look up to see its Kakashi and his mask was off too! I was startled and try to get away but knew it was pointless. I may have leaned taijutsu for 10 years but he's a ninja! Jounin or Anbu level at that!

Kakashi's POV

Mina tried to get out of my grasp but gave up once she knew it was pointless. "how-how did you-!"

"I'm a ninja" I said shrugging it off at how shocked she was that I followed her. "so why did you go in the first place?" I asked her. she flinches back at the harshness in my voice. at first she looks confused then she realizes what I meant.

"What do you care?" she asked in a monotone voice. I growled and held on a little harder on her wrists. She yelped. "Wha-what the heck Kakashi!" she demanded trying to get out of my grip again, when she stopped she was panting hard. I smirked a little "damn you" she mumbled.

"I don't think I've heard you curse before until now" I say amused. she stares daggers at me but that only made me laugh. "your amusing you know"

"Ha is that's all I am? an amusement?" she asked in an unhumorous voice, hurt in her eyes. I growled.

"Don't twist my words" I warned. she looked at me like that annoyed her.

"Yeah again, why do you care!?" she cried out annoyed that I wasn't answering her question. "you proved it on many occasions now that you don't like me that way. what's with you?" Mina asked hurt completely now in her eyes. I growled again and slammed my lips with her. her eyes widened but started to close her eyes and kissed back.

I smirked a little again, when she pulled away she was dazed. "Wha? huh?" she asked as I got off her and handed her my hand she accepted it.

"Is that good for an answer?" I asked smirking at her nodding head. I smiled and looked around this passage way.

"It's old, the house so it wasn't a surprise that there are secret passages. this one leads to the attic. while others go around different places in the house." Mina explained, then it hit me.

"You used these passages to get to places in the house!" I say surprised. she giggles a yes.

"Yeah. I used to hide here when I was playing hide and seek with my sisters" she said smiling at the thought.

"Well you need your sleep. tomorrow you gotta leave for something right?" I ask she nods confused.

"I'm a ninja" I said. she rolled her eyes and pointed which passage would lead me to my room. after I got there I took a shower and slept.
