~Chapter Nine -Escape And Possessed~
Loyd's POV
We all are stalking the portal, watching it with suspicious eyes. "Anything yet?" Travis asks. "Not that I can see, no," Victor responds. The portal shakes, rumbling the ground, sending Aaren out of his tree and behind the tall, deep brown trunk. Snow from the ground is slowly jumping up and down, making the world a giant snow-globe. I hear a low growling coming from Aaren, Scott, Travis, and Gabriel. Xander, Victor and I seem calmer about it, having our swords out for combat. Gabriel summons a staff from Asemis-knows-where. Xander shape-shifts into a form with deep blue and purple armor, a star with an X through it on his forehead. On the front of the armor's chest plate, a dreamcatcher-looking object it printed onto it, yet another X through it. "Xander, we agreed..." Gabe growls. Xander follows up the growl, letting it be louder. The werewolf with the staff sighs and shifts into a form similar to his, the armor being deep purple and black, the same design on the chest in white. The mark on his face is a waning crescent moon with the white ink made dripping down from the bottom of the moon. Their eyes both are a light gray color. "What in Nicole's name?" Travis questions the forms before us. "DeathDreamers," Victor replies. "And you will not speak of my mother that way." He growls. "Ok, I'll try not to." Travis gulps. Victor nods. Snow falls from the branch overhead, covering me in the fluffy, white, frozen water. "WHAT IN KOLOUS' NAME?!" I shout, dragging laughter along side my fuming rage.
???'s POV
"So, she is currently in the cell of Dakota the Destroyer, correct?" Kolous confirms in a questioning manner. I nod, "Nicole told me about her visions and seeing her daughter and speaking with her." The other 3 men throw glances all around the DivineOne's realms. "Well, does she know of her power from her mother?" Timther asks, his head slightly tilting to the right. "Not that we know of, no. I think Nicole knows if she does though." Ciner grumbles. We currently do not have everyone here. We are waiting for Nicole to come, and as normal, confirm we are all here and then start the meeting. The green-eyed lady steps into the room. "Alright, role-call..." She starts. "Ciner the God of the day?" His hand goes up. She nods. "Timther, God of fire?" He spits a bit of fire from his mouth, making Nicole nod again. "Kolous, Goddess of regions?" Kolous puts her hand up. "Asemis, God of the night?" I grunt, showing my presence. "Eva, Goddess of time?" She smiles and giggles. "and Jenna, Goddess of order?" She holds her head high. "And, I, Nicole the Nature Guardian, call this meeting commenced." Her hand falls to the table, making a loud bang echo through the hall. "Let us get to the topic, my daughter, Shadow Gillian Wagner..."
Shadow's POV
I'm lying the middle of my cell, my golden eyes, dulled from lack of light, my skin has paled a bit, from lack of sunlight as well. The only light source around this place is the nicely placed torches, lit with blue flames. I stare at the ceiling, lost in thought when Lord Synth enters the Camber of Shadow, also known as, me. "Shadow." He calls sternly. "What do you want?" I grumble. He flicks his wrist in anger and pain starts to course through my body like a river. I don't scream, I don't wince. No sound or movement comes from me. Im not giving them what they want. Power and that 'power' comes in my pain, almost forcing me to switch forms. So, I don't. "She isn't going to scream? Aw, that's too bad. Come on, let's go." Synth growls as he flicks his other wrist, making the pain drain away. He opens the cell door and I take my chance. While he's standing on the other side of the door, I bolt it to the hallway. "HEY! GUARDS! GET HER!" He screams. I have my own guard up and my mind and eyes on high alert. I switch to my wolf form, sprinting faster than I did in my human form. 'I need to use my werewolf form.' I thought. I focus hard, then switch. Im a larger beast on back legs, my teeth, sharper. I slide slightly when turning the corner to my right. "GET BACK HERE YOU BEAST!" A guard screams to me. I stop right in my place, making them stop. I can almost see their confused faces. Silence fills the air, a slight, salty breeze flying by. "What... Did you just call me?" I question, my voice starting to alter. My werewolf form almost melts away and into my DeathDreamers form. As long as im not in pain or around the blue bubble, they can't harm me using magicks. My clothes turn into deep blue and black armor, a dream catcher with an X through it engraving my chest plate. A full moon with white dripping from it, on my forehead. I chuckle, "I wonder how it would be to see... Blood shed again?" I turn my head, so I can glare at them from my right eye. They're shaking like an earthquake. "N-No ma'am..." I turn on my heels, facing them with a scowl. "Then you might as well leave me be..." The guards nod without hesitation and quickly run. I chuckle lightly. "They know who I am. My DeathDreamers form is more powerful than your average DeathDreamer." I smirk, then turn on my heel and start walking away, switching to my demon form. I have a plan but- 'I can not believe you thought you would think that changing into your demon form in this realm would help you out easier. If anything, it's helping us out.' I can almost tell my once yellow eyes became a slight hue of purple. 'You will take out Acorntop village, no questions asked.' He forces a smile upon my face as I start walking. All I can do now is watch.
