The doctor finally comes back in. "We ran some tests and Haylees left kidney isn't working as good as her right one." He says and I feel my heart break a little. NO! This can't be happening. "NO!" I yell and run out of the room. I get outside and sink to my knees. I close my eyes and pray. That's all I can do.
"God why my beautiful baby girl? Why why why? I just want her to grow up healthy and have a good life." I pray and go back in. I breathe in and out. "Haylee baby girl." I say and she looks up. "Yes daddy?" She ask. "I love you." I say and sit down. "Doctor when can she leave?" Caroline asks him. "Now actually. Luke just sign the papers and y'all are free to leave." He says and I stand up to sign the papers.

We just had to stop get something to eat for Haylee because she is starving. "Daddy can we go to Logans? Pleaseeeeee?" Haylee begs. "I guess so." I say and she cheers. I chuckle at her. I pull up at Logans and help Haylee get out. Caroline went to her house and go one of her friends to meet us here. Caroline gets out her friends car and walks over to us. "Hello." Haylee smiles at her.
Caroline's POV
"Hey can I ask you something?" Haylee asks me when we sit down. I nod my head and look at Luke. He just shrugs. She leans in so she can whisper in my ear. "Daddy told me y'all were dating and since y'all are going to get married. I was wondering If I can call you momma or something because I like that better than Caroline." She ask me. I nod and she side hugs me. "Ya know daddy, I like this chick better than Brittany." Haylee says and I look at her. "Who's Brittany?" I ask her.
"She's daddy's CRAZY ex-girlfriend. When we were still on tour she barged on the bus and Uncle Ty came and got me and we cuddled that night. Then we were still on tour. I was out with Jordan and Kris and MeMaw. They were trying clothes on while I waited. Well Brittany kidnapped me and now she's in jail. Or prison. She deserves to be in prison." Haylee explains.
Luke's POV
"Haylee Michelle Bryan that's not nice." I scowl her. She throws her hands up like she's surrendering. "Sorry. But it's true." She says and Caroline laughs.
