A New Family

Chapter 18

"What?" Jordan says. "Daddy asked Caroline to be his wife. And she's gonna have a baby!" I say excited. Jordan smiles the biggest smile I've ever seen. "Yay!" She says. I hear MeMaw call her. "I gotta go baby. I'll se ya later." She says and ends it. I close the IPad. "Daddy Jordan is happy for you and mommy." I say to daddy. I am picked up and threw over Somebodys shoulder. I let out a scream. "Blake put me down." I say and he chuckles.

"No." He says back. "What'd you just say to me?" I sass. "I said no." He says. I start irritating him so he will put me down. I poke, tickle, and hit his back. He finally puts me down. Daddy gets done with the food. ""Thank you!" I say as we sit down. We say grace and eat.

****TIME SKIP TO AFTER THE WEDDING*****

It's the day after the wedding and I'm at MeMaws because momma and daddy are on their honeymoon. What ever that is.

Me, Jordan and Kris are watching Duck Dynasty. I yawn because it's past my bed time. "Come on kid it's time for bed." Kris says picking me up. She carries me to her and Jordans room. I crawl under the covers as Jordan comes up the stairs. They both get under the covers with me and we fall asleep.

I wake up and crawl out from under the covers. I go downstairs and go to the kitchen. Pop, Tommy, and MeMaw are in there. "Good morning kiddo." Pop says to me. "Morning pop." I say ad sit at the bar. "Hey sweetheart." MeMaw says. "Hey." I yawn out. I lay my head on Pops shoulder. "How bout after breakfast me, you, Jordan and Kris go to the fair." MeMaw suggest. "Sure." I perk up as she sets food infront of me. I lift my head off Pops shoulder and start eating my eggs, bacon and a biscuit.

Me, Jordan and Kris match today. We're wearing our cowboy boots, jean shorts, and one of daddys concert shirts. We go to the bumper cars first since I can't ride many rides. Me and Kris are in one while Jordan and this really cute boy are in one. Kris bumps into Jordan and laughs. It ends and we get off. I run up to Jordan. I clear my throat. She picks me up while MeMaw and Kris walk over.

"Guys this is Kyle. Kyle this is my sister Kris, my grandmother LeClaire and this little thing is Haylee." Jordan says and I stick out my hand. "I'm Haylee. If you make my cousin cry or hurt her. I will rough you up and then I'll get my daddy to rough you up." I say as he shakes my hand. "She's not kidding either. You should've seen her when I brought my friend Jake over for dinner one time." Kris says which causes us all to laugh. "Well Kyle I'm LeClaire. Would you like to spend the day with us?" MeMaw asks him. "Sure." He says. We walk around ride different rides and eat funnel cake. We finally make it home. And Kyle is still with us!

****Luke and Caroline are back from their honeymoon******

We are eating at MeMaws tonight. Momma and daddy are finally back. Jordan and Kyle are dating. Daddy finally gets to meet him. "LUKE,CAROLINE, KRIS, JORDAN, TOMMY, HAYLEE DINNERS READY!" MeMaw shouts. We all get up and run in the kitchen. We are having steak, baked potatoes, salad, and sausage. With sweet tea. The door bell goes off. I run back and open it. "KYLE! JORDAN KYLE'S HERE!" I shout. I let him in and shut the door. We walk into the kitchen, him holding me. Jordans' face lights up. "Haylee are you trying to steal my boyfriend?" Jordan jokes as Kyle puts me down. I sit between momma and daddy.

"Boyfriend?" Daddy asks. I look at Jordans face. She wears the 'oh crap' look. "Uncle Luke this is Kyle. Kyle this is Uncle Luke." Jordan says. I crack up at her. Momma looks at me. I shut up quickly. "Well it's nice to meet ya. I'm Luke." Daddys says as he shakes Kyles hand.

Oooo Jordan has a boyfriend. Only two chapters left in this book. I will be doing a series of three books. Haylee's gonna be a little older in the second one though. They're all gonna have 20 chapters.
