Chapter 17: Making Up & Feels

Tristyn's pov
*Continued from last chap.*

They finished the first few songs of their setlist and Namjoon begins to speak. They all introduce themselves and I can't help, but smile at Hobi's introduction.

"Did J hope really just say, 'I'm your eternal hope, J hope'?" Cole asks and I nod.

Yep he did that.

They finish introductions and Namjoon begins to speak.

"So many of you know this is our 3rd birthday!" He starts and gets cut off by the crowds screams. I smile looking around me. They don't known how special they mean to these fans.

"And we are so excited for tonight's show. We have so much planned for tonight and I'm more than happy and grateful that all of you could be here." Awe that was sweet.

If you couldn't guess I'm not mad at him anymore. I never really was. Aggravated? Yes. Mad. No. In fact I miss him more than I ever have. Knowing that we weren't on good terms killed me. Just seeing his face now makes me happy. But he doesn't look happy. He looks like he's faking it.

Namjoon continues his talking bit and I get a text. I pull out my phone and see its from Jin.

"Meet me outside in the lobby of the venue."

I send an okay and tell everyone that I need to go to the bathroom, which is half true. I find the exit and run to the lobby to find Jin.

When I do I yell his name causing him to look at me. Before I could say anything he pulls me by the arm and I follow him to wherever.

"What are you doing? Where are you taking me?" I ask and he stops.

"Go find manager hyung and sit with him by the side of the stage. You'll find out soon." He say and then pushes me over to where their manager is. I turn back to Jin and see he's already sneaking back on stage. I take a seat by their manager and he smiles at me.

"Now that I expressed my love too all of you beautiful people. It's time to express it to my actual love." Namjoon say and turns toward my direction. I see him walk closer and when he's close enough to me, he holds out a hand.

I hesitantly take it and he walks us back out onto the stage. Oh god what is happening. I hear the fans grow louder and shyly smile at them. Well at least they aren't booing.
Namjoon hands me off to Taehyung and he guides me to sit on the stool that I just now realized they had up here. I sit and turn to Namjoon giving him a confused look. Hoping that he will explain what's going on.

"Tristyn you and I have known each other for so long. We started out as friends, but then decided to make it official. You don't understand and realize how happy that day made me. The day that you were officially mine will be and goes down as one of my favorite days ever." He says looking straight at me and I can feel myself start tearing up.

Damn it Namjoon why do you gotta do this to me.

"I know I messed up. Really messed up and I completely understand if you're done with me. I know I'm a handful to deal with, but somehow you still deal with it. I love you with my full and entire heart. Sometimes it scares me how much I love you and how much more in love I get with you each and everyday." He gets on one knee and we're eye level now. The crowd awes, but gets louder as they see his action.

Oh god! He's not doing what I think he's doing is he?

I cover my mouth with my hands as he takes a small box out of his pocket.

"Judging from your reaction you might think I'm proposing to you, but I'm not." He says and I instantly look at him.

Wait what?

Then what the hell is he doing then? Playing with my emotions that's what he's doing. That asshole.

"I am giving you something a little bit like that though." And on cue he opens the box and I see a tiny ring.

"This promise ring is my promise to love you and care for you enough each and everyday of my life and your life. I'm going to try to be better for you and hope that maybe if I succeed enough that you'll allow me to ask you the bigger question one day." He says and I can't hold in my happy tears. One slips and he wipes it with his free hand.

"So Tristyn will you forgive me and take this promise ring?" He asks and I nod as he takes my hand to put the ring on it. When he does he hugs me and I hug him back ten times harder.

I've missed him so much.

The crowd cheers for us and we pull away from our hug. He gives me a kiss and we both smile into it, before we have to break away from it. I look at the small ring and smile. He knew that if it was a big ring I wouldn't wear it. He knows I'm not a ring person. That's why he probably went with the small one. I love it either way.

I'm soon escorted off of the stage and I take a seat back next to their manager as they begin Save me. I smile and sing along. That was until Jhope brought me back out and they all sang to me. I smile and cover my face in embarrassment shaking my head.

Until Namjoon takes my hands and raps his part looking straight into my eyes. When he was done with his part he quickly kissed my cheek and stood behind me.

They finish the song and all bow before running off the stage. I follow manager hyung who escorts me back to my seat, but not without giving Namjoon a quick kiss and a good luck on his dance. I yell good luck to the rest of the boys and quickly make my way back to the seating area.

I feel like I'm walking on cloud 9 right now.

I'm the happiest I've ever been. I mean I got the love of my life back who wouldn't be happy about that.

I make it back to my seat and everyone, Cole and Alex mostly, bombard me with questions. Cole at one point grabs my hand and inspects my hand.

When it gets his approval he lets me have my hand back. I can't say much because the lights turn low and soon music starts to play.

I smile wide when I see Hobi and Yoongi walk out. I laugh and smile throughout their entire performance. I love those two. They seriously know how to make anyone in a better mood.

When those two are done it's now Namjoon's dance break and I'm anxious to watch it. From what I saw at the practices he was really good.

*after watch both Namjoon and Jin's dance break*

Holy shit!

I have the most talented friends ever.

How dare Namjoon say he can't dance. Umm boy what the fuck was that? Also same to Jin. They did so good. I'm so proud of them!

Next up is Jimin and kookie.

I'm actually a little nervous for theirs. Apparently they switched songs, so the routine I knew of is different than what they are going to be doing.

They step out on stage and the lights go black.

This should be interesting.
