Chapter 33: Change Of Heart

Tristyn's pov

Alex and Jungkook are completely ruining my plan. They're supposed to be closer. Not back to day one. Of course they had to get awkward and backtrack.

Nothing can go my way.

Alex is coming over to my apartment today because she told me she has something important. I have no idea what, but she sounded serious over the phone. I'm a little worried about her.

I hear a knock on my door and I rush over to answer it. Alex lightly smiles at me and I grab her arm pulling her inside. Dragging her to the couch to sit down.

"Well hello to you too." She laughs a little and I flash her a quick smile. I go back to my worried mom face, as her and many people call my worried face.

"Is everything alright? It seemed serious when you talked to me over the phone?" I say and she sighs.

"It's about Jungkook..." she starts and I nod.

Oh god what he do now?

"What about him? You still lien him right?" I ask.

"I do, but I think I'm starting to more than just like him." She states and I have to push down the huge smile that's rising on my face.

I have to stay calm. This is a serious matter. I can freak out with Jin after she leaves.

"What do you mean? Like give me examples." I say and she nods.

I already know what she's felling, just by the way she's acting. But I want to see if my predictions and assumptions are correct.

"well for one I'm thinking about him way more than I probably should. Like anything I do or say reminds me of him. I've never felt sad when I lost a contact with someone. Yeah, I'd be like 'Oh well this is sad' or 'Oh that sucks, but okay see ya later', but then i'd get over it really fast. But it's different with him. I'm actually not getting over loosing him." She confesses and I raise an eyebrow.

"You haven't lost him yet though?" I say confused.

"But it feels like I have." She says and I sigh.

Oh Jungkook what are you doing to this poor girl? I need to think of something to get them close again. I mean close to where they are confessing their feelings to each other.

Wait! Him and the boys have a performance coming up. Jungkook has a solo stage thing as well. I could invite her there. Then maybe when he's done they can talk.

Would I even be able to invite her? Would she even be able to go? Would she even want to go? I know her dad and Cole would allow her, I mean she'd be with me majority and basically the whole time.

"Hey Al, do you want to go to a special New Years/end of the year music festival with me? The guys are performing a couple songs and I have an extra ticket if you wanted to join me." I say and she tilts her head thinking about it.

I'm not lying i have like five extra tickets because the guys' manager didn't know what to do with the extra ones. Since apparently the people who were originally going to go backed out.

"When is it?" She asks.

"December 31st, so you'll be on Christmas break." I say and she nods.

"Sure, I'd love to go, I'll have to ask my dad if it's okay." I nod understanding.

For the rest of the day/afternoon her and I talk about anything and everything. I help her more with her confused feelings. Which if I'm being honest she really shouldn't be confused. It's clear as day that she's falling in love with him. She's just too stubborn to admit it to herself. Which is really starting to drive me crazy. At least Jungkook admitted to himself and he accepts it.

Jungkook's pov

"JEON JUNGKOOK GET YOUR ASS DOWNSTAIRS AND EAT!" Jin hyung yells loosing his tmeper.

He's tried to get me to come down and eat for about 10 minutes now.

"I'M NOT HUNGRY!" I yell back again and I can practically feel the annoyed eye roll.

"YOU LIAR! YOU'RE ALWAYS HUNGRY!" Why is he still yelling? We're literally a room apart

I get up and walk into the kitchen to see him washing up dishes. He's in his own little world so I do the only thing that's right.

I  decide to scare him.

"HYUNG!" I scream and grab his shoulders in panic.

"YAH! WHAT?" He yells and  he jumps about five feet in the air, causing me to double over in laughter.

"Don't do that! You could've given me a heart attack." He scolds and I control my laughter.

"I could've, but I didn't." I point out and he glares at me.

"You want to be grounded don't you?" He asks and I immediately stop laughing.

"No, sorry hyung." I apologize and he sighs.

"It's okay kookie, to make it up to me you can at your dinner." He says and hands me a plate of food.

I take it and sit down at the table. Quickly finishing the food and putting the plate in the sink. Jin gives me a look and I tilt my head.

"What?"

"You weren't hungry huh?"

"So I had a sudden change of heart...." I say defensively and he laughs while ruffling my hair.

"Go get ready for bed, you have two days and then you're free for Christmas break." I nod and tell him a quick goodnight before heading upstairs.

I change into my pjs and double check to make sure I have everything packed for this week. When I do, I plug in my phone and set my alarm.

Slowly falling asleep when my head hits my pillow.
