Chapter 23: Worried Alex and DabDab's Comeback

Jungkook's pov

I walk into school and instantly want to turn back around. I have a migraine already and I haven't even been here five minutes. I walk to my locker, but on my way I get stopped by a girl.

"Hey Jungkook." She bats her eyelashes and I nervously smile at her.

"Uh hi." I say and she giggles.

"I didn't see you yesterday it made me sad." She fake pouts and I feel my migraine get worse.

"Yeah I had a performance, sorry to be rude, but I have to go." I say and try to walk past her, but she grabs my wrist stopping me.

"Wait! Call me sometime okay?" She says and smiles before slipping her number in my hand.

I nod and walk past her continuing to my locker. I get to it and lay my head on it. That's not the first time this has happened to me.

What makes this girl different though is she's apparently really well known in this school. I've seen her cheer at the school assemblies that James and everyone forced me to go to. I think she's the head cheerleader, but I'm not sure.

I get snapped out of my thoughts when I feel a hand on my bicep. I raise my head a little bit and see it's Alex.

She smiles at me and I send her a tiny smile back.

"You okay?" She asks and her face instantly changes to worry.

I nod and get into my locker.

"You sure? You don't look so good."

"Yeah I'm fine, just a migraine. I'll be fine don't worry." I say and she hesitantly nods while I close my locker.

"I know I promised you that I'd be annoying today, but you don't feel good so I'll hold off." She says as we start walking.

I laugh softly a little and nod.

"Thanks I appreciate it." I say causing her to lightly laugh.

We reach her locker and I lean against the ones beside hers. I rub my temples and lay my head against the cold locker.

I watch Alex exchange books that she doesn't need for the ones she does. I slightly smile when she leans back and tries to remember what she needs. How can someone look cute while thinking? I don't get it.

She looks towards me and I quickly look away from her and look around the hall. Trying to make it look like I wasn't just staring at her.

"Will you be able to go on our date? You know if you're feeling like crap?" She asks and my heart races a bit just hearing her say our date.

I still can't believe I actually asked her on a date. How I'm still alive is a miracle.

"I should be fine don't worry." I say and she smiles with a nod before focusing back to her locker.

When she grabs everything she needs she closes her locker and I push off of the locker. I push off a little too quickly and almost fall. Alex quickly grabs onto my arm and helps keep me steady.

"You okay?" She asks and I nod.

"Yeah, just got light headed is all. I'll be okay." I say and try to give her a reassuring look.

She still keeps her hold on my arm and walks me to at first what I thought was my class, but turned out to be the office.

"I'm supposed to walk you to your class, not the other way around." I try to joke and she rolls her eyes.

"Jungkook you almost fainted I'm not taking you to class I'm taking you to the nurse. You don't look so good. You look like you could faint at any moment." She says worriedly and I stop causing her to stop as well.
