Chapter 42: Babysitting Adventures

Alex's pov

"Why are we doing this again?"

"Oh my god Alex I swear if you ask that one more time I will not hesitate to punch you." Hana threatens and I laugh.

"C'mon Al it'll be fun." Tristyn says positively and I groan.

"How is babysitting three monsters fun?" I ask as we make our way up to the house.

"It will be, the kids are angels." Tristyn says then knocks on the door.

It soon opens and Tristyn and the woman hug. The woman invites us all inside and we follow her to the living room. I noticed straight away that she was American.

"Thank you so much for doing this for me Tristyn, sorry for the mess." The woman says in English and Tristyn dismissevly waves her hand.

"It's fine, I practically live with bangtan, I wouldn't even remotely consider this dirty."

"Oh how rude of me, I'm Shelby."  The woman, Shelby, introduces herself noticing Hana and I's existence.

Hana and I introduce ourselves and she then calls down her kids. I hear little feet scramble upstairs and soon see two kids rush to face their mom.

I thought Tristyn said there was three? But okay I gotta admit they're actually pretty stinking cute. Shelby leaves the room and soon comes back in holding a baby, probably barely a year old.

"Okay kiddos mommy has a work dinner tonight so I'm gonna have aunt Tristyn and her friends watch you." She says to her kids then turn to us, "I'll try to be home before they go to bed at 8:30, but if I'm not then I'll definitely be home before midnight."

"That's fine, would it be okay if I called Namjoon over?" Tristyn asks and Shelby nods and hands Tristyn the baby.

"Yeah that's fine", she turns to her kids and kneels down in front of them,"alright my babies be good for aunt Tristyn. I love you give me hugs." The two tackle their mother and say their goodbyes.

Once Shelby leaves the three kids, two girls and one boy, all look at Tristyn. The littlest ones eyes brighten and she starts making unknown sounds.

Aka baby talk.

"Yeah? Tell me about it Livy." Tristyn says smiling and the baby keeps going.

"Oh my gosh she's adorable!" Hana screeches and I nod.

Livy looked at Hana weirdly and then looked at me. I slightly smiled at her and she makes grabby hands to me. I look at Tristyn and she does a hand off motion.

I take Olivia and she smiles at me. The twins, Noah and Sophia, walk to Tristyn and she kneels down to their height.

"Auntie Trissy we're hungry." Noah says and pouts.

"Can you make us din din?" Sophia asks with puppy dog eyes.

Tristyn looks at the time on her phone and nods.

"Yeah, by the time I have it done it'll be dinner time. Hana and Alex can you watch them while I cook?" She asks and we nod.

"Of course! C'mon little ones lets go play in the living room!" Hana says excitedly and grabs one of Noah's hands and one of Sophia's hands. I follow behind still carrying a happy Olivia.

I sit on the couch and watch Hana play with the four or five year olds on the ground.

"Han you're really good at this." I compliment and she gives me a smile.

"Thanks, I've always wanted younger siblings." She says.

"Is that why you volunteer at the daycare center?"
