The day has come.

We've practiced months for this and it's finally happening. Our bags are packed and the only thing left now is to say farewell. Our drive to the airport is quiet. Alex's hand not leaving mine even after we've checked in.

I smile softly at the girl in my arms as she sleeps. Taking in her beauty and having to remind myself that she's actually mine. Who would've thought the guy that could barely talk to girls would actually get himself someone as amazing as her. I quietly chuckle remembering our first interaction.

As I was walking I got a text from Yoongi hyung, which is weird since he is never awake at this time. I check it and wasn't looking where I was going and bumped into something, or actually more like someone. Making them drop all of the papers that they were holding.

I look at the person and notice it was a girl. I instantly freeze and not know what to do. I don't do very well talking to girls. I tend to freeze up and get really awkward. If I do speak, I end up stuttering.

The girl looks up and we make eye contact. She's very beautiful I will admit. Her eyes are definitely breathtaking. You could get lost in them by staring to long.

I'm soon snapped out of my trance when I hear her start to speak.

"Umm are you okay?" She asks still picking up papers and stacking them in her arms.

"Oh uh y-yeah um s-sorry about that." I stutter out and kneel down to help her pick up the rest of the papers, that were scattered around.

"It's okay, we both weren't looking."

I hand over the papers that I collected and we both stand up. She adjusts the papers in her arms and smiles at me in appreciation for helping her.

"I'm Alex, by the way." The girl, Alex, introduces herself.

"Jeon Jungkook." I successfully say without stuttering.

"You're new I can tell, I've never seen you here before." She states pretty much the obvious. I don't know what to say so I just nod.

"Well it was nice meeting you Jungbook, but I gotta go." She says and walks past me.

"It's Jungkook..." I mumble softly watching her disappear around the corner.

I smile sweetly at the memory and can't believe how nervous I was. I know for a fact I definitely did not make the best first impression. No matter how many times Alex tells me it was cute to see me all flustered and scared to speak. I defiantly don't think it was cute. Horrifying,
traumatic, embarrassing, those should be the words for it.

Somehow though I was able to get her to be my friend. Which then turned from simple study sessions transformed into me actually getting the nerve to ask her out. All of the dates we've had I still think our first was the best. I stressed out over it so much. I wanted it to be perfect. Perfect for a perfect girl.

Alex stirs in her sleep and suddenly she's slowly opening her eyes. She sleepily smiles up at me and I can feel my heart beat race faster. The things she does to me.

"Did you have a good nap?" I ask and she nods leaning up and sitting beside me. I grab one of her hands and begin to play with her fingers. Her hand being much more smaller than mine.
