Chapter 39: Lover Boy

Jungkook's pov

Christmas break is sadly over meaning I have to go back to school. Also meaning I have a shit ton of work to do and a shit ton of test I have to study for. Especially if I'll be graduating later next month.

February is going to approach real fast and I'm not prepared.

Like at all.

I walk through the schools double doors and instantly want to turn back around. I walk to my locker to see James and Steve already standing by it. When James sees me he smiles and waves excitedly. Steve waves at me and I smile back to them.

"Hey lover boy." James winks and I tilt my head confused.

"Alex told Cole, who then told me. I think Alex told Hana and that's how Steve knows." James explains and Steve nods.

Before I could say anything I feel arms wrap around my waist. I look over my shoulder and see Alex. Her grinning sweetly at me.

"Well hi." I say and she smiles up at me.

"Hi." She lets go and stands next to me.

"You both are so cute! It's about time you two started dating." Hana speaks up and I laugh.

"It took a bit longer to plan out then I thought it would." I say truthfully and notice Alex raise an eyebrow.

"How long have you been planning this?"

I look over to Steve and he shrugs.

"What for about 2 or 3 months?" He asks and I nod.

"Yeah, it was around the time after we had our date." I say and then look at her to see her reaction.

She just smiles and hugs my waist.

The warning bell rings and I walk with Alex to her first period class. When we make it to the office I have to get a late pass since I know I'll be late. Alex walks to her desk area and I kiss the top of her head before walking over to the head office assistant, Miss. Oliver.

She gives me a warm smile and I smile back.

"Haven't seen you in awhile, do you need to see principal Jung?" She asks and I shake my head no.

"No I just need a late pass, I mean unless principal Jung needs to talk to me." I say and just at that moment his office door opens.

"Ah Jungkook! Great to see you finally here!" He greets cheerfully and I cringe at it. Giving him a small smile in return.

"It's great to be back."

"So what are you doing here? Besides earning brownie points from all the ladies in here." He sends me a playful wink and I tilt my head.

"I'm sorry I don't think I know what you mean." I say and he chuckles.

"You're quite the gentleman Mr. Jeon." He simply states and I'm still a bit confused.

I just slowly nod and awkwardly scratch the back of my neck.

"He's trying to tell you he and everyone in this office saw how much of a gentleman you are to Alex." Nurse Ruby states walking past me and putting something on Jung's desk.

Oh now I get it. I slightly blush and nod, causing them to all laugh.

"Awe now that's too cute, are we allowed to ship students? Oh well I'm shipping it anyway!" Ruby says happily and winks at someone behind me.

I turn and see Alex standing there awkwardly and I send her a small smile. The bell rings signaling first period has started and I turn my attention back to Mr. Jung.
