Clary didn't realize how long she was staring at the water, undulating peacefully and calming her racing mind. No one was around, it's quiet. Perhaps, too quiet, so when a flash of blond hair barrelled into her peripheral vision she immediately turned her head but simply found nothing but the eerie empty bridge.

"Jace?"

There it was again, at the edge of her vision, then it diappeared the moment she tried to look.

"Jace!!" her voice broke when she shouted, even saying his name breaks her heart. She missed him so much, she thought this time it would be easier, the waiting, because it had happened before but this time it's worse. She knew where Jace was before and that there's a binding rune that protects him, now it's like they're all blinded and trying to search for a penny in a dark and vast room.

The longing, it's unbearable.

She stepped backwards and was surprised to feel someone touch her elbows. She turned around and there he was, healthier than ever, his shining blond hair as glorious as she remembered.

"Jace!!" It came out as a cry, she tried to hug him but he pulled back.

"Clary! Listen! Listen to me." He said urgently. Clary was confused for a moment and noticed his eyes, they were wild and shouting with panic. "You need to listen to me, tell him he wants to be one too."

"Tell who? Who wants to be what? Jace, I don't understand, calm down."

Jace looked at her with terrified eyes and started shouting "Sebastian wants to be one of them! We can't let him! He'll come back if he becomes one of them! We can't let him Clary!!!"

"CLARY! CLARY!!! WAKE UP!!!" she woke up gasping and found Isabelle on top of her shaking her by the shoulders.

"By the Angel, Clary. You were shouting his name at the top of your lungs and you won't wake up!"

"Sebastian wants to be one of them." she said, still dazed.

"One of what??" I sabelle sat at the edge of her bed looking worried.

"In my dream, Jace was trying to say to me that Sebastian wants to be one of... them."

"Who's them?" Isabelle said starting to get irritated.

"I have no idea. But I think it's real, my dream, it felt real. And he looked terrified." And still beautiful.

"Clary, let's talk about this in the morning. You look tired. Don't wear yourself out."

"Clary?" Simon peered into the room. "Are you alright?" he looked concerned.

"Yes... it's... just a dream. Sorry. I'll go back to sleep now."

"I'm teaching Izzy how to cook, do you wanna come with us?" they both looked at her expectanly but she shook her head. Izzy nodded and walked to the door.

"Wait, it's 1 a.m. why on earth are you trying to cook?" Clary asked.

"We were arguing about tomato soup and he won't shut up about it and insist on 'showing me how it's done'" Izzy said then snorted.

Simon held up a finger "I will show you how it's done. You'll bow down to Chef Simon."

"Since when did you become a chef?" Clary asked.

"Since I became a vampire and develop an apettite that has absolutely nothing to do with human food."

"You are so pretentious." Izzy said pushing Simon out and faced Clary  "Goodnight, Clary." and then she shut the door and Clary stayed awake until the next day, trying to remember every detail of her dream but nothing else seems to stick out but the name of the bridge that she read clearly before Jace appeared, Blackfriars Bridge.

                                                                           *************

Magnus was covered in chicken feathers when he opened the door to find Clary, wearing a long green coat, hair all up in tangles and eyes that looked tired from crying. She looked confused at Magnus' state but didn't even bother to ask why he's covered in actual chicken feathers.

She entered the room and started pacing. "Do you know where I can find the Blackfriars Bridge?"

Magnus was surprised by the question. "Clary, where did you-"

"I had this dream." She said, gesturing wildly with her hands and on the bringe of crying. "I had this dream and Jace was there and he was shouting and terrified. And he kept saying that he wanted to be one of them." she kept pacing back and forth looking down at his carpet like she might find the answers woven underneath.

"Jace wanted to be one of what?" Magnus said, confused and stunned.

"No." Clary was shaking her head. "No. No. No. I mean, Sebastian. Sebastian wanted to be one of them. I don't know what he meant by them so don't ask me. I was just up all night and I was trying to keep the dream in my head as long as I could, I'm trying to keep the details from fading but it doesn't seem like a dream, you know. It's all so clear and I remember reading 'Blackfriars Bridge' and I just thought if I could just try to go there and-"

"Clary-" Magnus said, his eyebrows furrowed. He looked worried.

"and you know, I might find something. It might be worth a shot. Like maybe, Jace, was trying to tell me something." She was crying now, her voice rising. It hurt to watch her like this. "I kept thinking about it and-"

"Clary! Wait!" Magnus said and Clary stopped. She stared at him and her eyes were pleading and sad like she's about to fall to the ground any minute and lose it.

"What, Magnus?" She whispered.

"Blackfriars bridge is in London."

Clary went to sit down on his couch and run her hands through her hair and started to cry. "I just thought it could give me some sort of clue, you know. What if something there can lead me to him."

"There... there might be... someone." Magnus said.

"What do you mean?" Clary looked up at him and Magnus started nodding his head "Yes, yes! I think she might know something."

"Who?" Clary said, a little hope in her voice.

"Tessa."
