I must've passed out because I came to to Margo dragging me off an elevator and past mr prick Quinn. He stood impatient as he stared at us.
Once inside I ran to the bathroom only to throw up a kidney.
"She's really sick, I couldn't just leave her." I over hear Margo plead to Quinn as he barks through clinched teeth.
"She's drunk that's what she is." I could hear the underlay of disgust in his voice.
"You don't understand her, she's like a baby when she's like this she needs my help."
"She's a grown woman, what will happen when we move?"
I stand to my feet and wobble to the door way.
"L- Leave? I say hiccuping looking at his glaring expression.
Margo grows pitty in her eyes as she leads me to the bed.
"Chi?" She began patiently as she tried to form the words carefully. And properly.
"Quinn was raised in Japan, so he wanted to show me his world. I've never been, but I might like it."
"Temporarily? Or long term" the sharp pain In my voice cut through both of them as I scoot away.
Her face seemed to contort at the long-term part and I fall to pieces.
"Yes chi, long term" she finally says with a drawn out breath and I break into.
"And when were you going to..
Explain this? I said as my throat burned with acid and I can feel on coming heart burn."Oh please don't be like this, not you. Your starting to sound like mother ever since I stared this relationship. I'll come back and visit? Don't you want my happiness?"
I brushed my hair back as I paced back and forth, my eyes were watering and I could feel my make up smudge.
"Don't you compare me to mother, not right now, I can't handle this, I think I need to lay down. Everything is so confusing right now I don't know what to do."
I was in no shape to do anything, my mind was moving past the normal speed limit and my body felt week and limp. I was still drunk as I could feel the left over nausea at the pit of my stomach. I needed to sit and process this in the morning but I felt restless.
"Chi please don't drive, not in your state please."
"Oh I'm not, I'll take a cab"
"Chi please understa-"
Before I could walk out my vision blurred and my brain drummed against my skull. I back peddled onto the bed. And held my head.
"Oh chi rest here." She fluffed the pillows and adjusted the things on the bed for me. She laid her hands gently on me as she lowered me down and I shrugged them off.
It wasn't long before I passed out.
