Milady," a white fox accompanied a beautiful young woman wearing white and red robs. Her skin was soft and flawless as her eyes shined a deep hazel. She hums as she lays in her bed calmly.
She's about to give birth. But she's surrounded.
Enemies of the palace that don't want to see an heir.
"Fairhid? Run warm water for mama? He's coming" she purrs as she rises slowly.
She gracefully glides to the window, her stomach barely noticeable but yet bare a precious heir.
Outside they come even closer.
"Milady"
"It's alright" and with one brisk hand motion they all vanish into ash.
The ashes began to blow away like dust in the wind and she let's out a laugh of triumph.
But it was quickly hushed by caughing as she clutched his stomach.
"Your powers"
"He helped me. Most of that was his strength."
She straightens and continues to look out into the night only to sign grimly.
"To bare a life? One must always be taken. That's the circle of life. Our story. In the animal kingdom it's a strong survival, you either sink or swim. And in that, that leaves an open questions. Which one is he?" She turns to the young fox with bright eyes.
"My last minutes are precious on this realm so I want to at least give him something to fight for. If I can give him anything besides life?"
"He will be a great one just like his mother." She smiled as he said this but it quickly fades once she felt pressure in her lower abdomen.
"The bath? He can't wait much longer."
