Although it was the day that Arabella most loathed, she walked towards the Great Hall smiling. At the moment she was experiencing a variety of emotions all ranging from excitement down to grief. And she was pretty unsure about which to feel first.

Right before she was about to enter the Great Hall she felt a hand upon her shoulder causing her to halt. Turning around she saw the stern eyes of Gryffindor's head of house.

"Hello Professor." her smile was there plastered upon her face, grey eyes glistening with mischievousness.

"Miss Silvercrest, I do hope you refrain from causing any trouble tonight." her tone was knowing with a slight twinge of strictness flowing through it.

"As if I would be doing something so wrong. To mess with a feast, that's way too risky for even me." She placed a hand upon her chest with fake shock. Mcgonagall eyed the brown haired girl until a glint of familiarity flashed within her eyes.

"You're mother spoke very similar words to me at one time. I'd assume that you'll hold up to that statement, contrary to what her and her friends carried out."

At the mention of her mother her smile faltered just the slightest, but of course the observant woman caught sight of it.  Arabella quickly composed herself giving a confident smile.

"Changing the food into flobberworms, quite impressive. Or so I've heard."

Mcgonagall gave the girl a look before speaking "I suppose. Do have a good evening Miss Silvercrest."

"Oh, I positively will. You too Minnie." Arabella walked into the Great Hall, but before she was too far away she caught the words that the older woman muttered under her breath.

       "So much like her father."

That very sentence echoed through her head as she headed to the front of the Slytherin Table. How in the world did she not think to ask any of the Professors here, surely they'd have known her father. And at that, even more about her mother.

Pushing the thoughts away she took her seat beside Daphne, Pansy on her other side, and Draco across from her alongside Blaise. From the corner of her eye she saw her horrid cousin burning holes into the side of her head. Ignoring it she turned her attention to the people around her.

One would think a friendship between the five would not have lasted this long, with Arabella being so close to Harry and the others. But so far it was just fine.

Aside from the occasional rants that Draco delivered, Pansy being Pansy, they were alright. Daphne was well, she had her moments, and Blaise never stopped with his excessive flirting.

"How's it going Silvercrest." Blaise said in a try hard flirty tone.

"Absolutely perfect Zabini. What about yourself, hm?"

"Splendid now that you are here." She rolled her eyes but smiled back. Blaise Zabini loved beautiful things, so naturally he was currently after what his idea of beautiful was, Arabella.

She took great pride in her appearance, she wasn't vain like Blaise but always wanted to look her best, she might go as far as say she's a bit arrogant. It was something that even Cetus inherited.

"Naturally." she spoke back with a teasing tone.

"Hello everyone." Min-a said as she sat beside Draco. Min-a was most definitely Arabella's favorite among the group. She was a little harsh but under all of that the girl was really a sweetheart.

"Why so late there Min-a? Off snogging Gideon Ashmore?" the Asian girl gave a deadly glare, which only caused Pansy to snicker. Not helping the situation, said boy walked past the group of Slytherins shooting a smile at Min-a.

"For your information Parkinson, I was off cleaning up your mess." the agitation within her voice was crystal clear. Seeing that an argument was inevitable, Arabella's eyes wandered over across the hall.

They were not hard to find, with hair that embodied fire they were a burning beacon. Spotting the two Gryffindors, they both went a wink her way. Even from where she sat, their grins were unmissable.

A second later Dumbledore addressed the students, and a moment after the feast. She felt  like she was buzzing, as if electricity were running through her very veins. Taking one last look in the direction of the Twins, Arabella reached for the pumpkin juice. She saw her friends take a sip and then cringe at the taste. Following suit, her nose scrunched up from the horrid flavor.

One by one, students poured the orange liquid into cups, and within minutes students were standing with shock as their features changed. One second the room was filled with different faces, the next, thousands of Snapes were looking upon each other trying to figure out what in the world was going on.

Everything was going according to plan, Arabella stood from her seat and attempted to make her way through the sea of Snapes. She was closing in on the Gryffindor table when someone pulled her to the side.

"I was wondering when you'd find us."

Arabella was in a fit of laughter as she was dragged through the halls of Hogwarts. Fred and George were in a similar state as the three ran towards the astronomy tower robes billowing behind them.

Upon arrival, Arabella had fallen to her knees gasping for air, tears falling down her olive cheeks. Finally catching her breath, Arabella looked to the twins then laughed again, her stomach aching.

After everything settled, and the laughs had diminished, Arabella sighed happily. Her second year was coming along quite nicely, the pranks, the twins, Harry.

"So pretty." She turned at the sound of a voice, Fred was looking at her with his fiery red hair, a look of horror suddenly took over his features. "I-uh the sky. It's so pretty up here." Beside him George was trying so hard to contain his laughter, his skin turning red in the process.

A blush crept up her neck at the mishap. She chuckled softly before getting to her feet.

"It is, isn't it?" she joined the twins at the railing looked up at the ink black sky. "Thank you for tonight." her grey eyes looked between the Weasley twins before she returned to the sky.

"We couldn't have done it without you. You were the one who snuck into the kitchens." George spoke having composed himself.

"Very true." She spoke arrogantly before laughing, "This by far is better than flobberworms."

"By far it is." Fred said.

The three had sat in the Astronomy tower long after the prank had been pulled. By now everyone was bound to have changed back, the chaos simply just talk now.

"It'd be best if I headed to the Common room. They find the lot of us together, we'd get detention for sure."

"We'll get detention regardless." Joked George

"Yes, well better confronted later than now. Goodnight boys." Bidding farewell to the boys, Arabella made haste as she traveled to the dungeons. Tonight had gone spectacularly well, and just as she turned the corner, she was met with a mess of black hair and green eyes.

♢ ♢ ♢

I'm aware that some events are slightly out of order, but it is for the sake of the plot-line (i.e. the deathday party, feast and what not). Regardless, here is an update! I do hope you enjoy part two. Ooh, and finally a new character had shown up! Well two, Seo Min-a (who I absolutely love) and Gideon Ashmore (who I also love). They'll make more appearances within the newest book I've been working on. Look out for that because hopefully, it'll be out soon. But for now Please vote, comment, and follow!
