Dear boy who makes my heart flutter,

My heart was beating faster than the snitch flies. Your smile, messy hair, Harry if only you weren't a sight for sore eyes, maybe I'd have seen the bludger coming straight for my face. It was a complete accident, I knew that. George had the best intentions of hitting my teammate, but of course, our beater hit it away. Straight into my jaw. I don't believe I've ever felt a pain so severe. Well, maybe when Gael purposely burned me with a hot poker, but this is definitely up there.

Everything was going so well but then you had to smile at me. I'd never admitted it, but this was partially your fault. You and your charming good looks. Honestly,  I never imagined breaking my jaw, it never once crossed my mind but I guess playing Quidditch anything is possible. Going to this school anything can occur. Honestly, what's next, gigantic spiders?

I'm just thankful that someone stopped me from hitting the ground. My memory seems to have slipped, for I do not remember anything after that moment besides the faint calls of my name. I only remember waking up to feel your hand wrapped up in my own. You were asleep in the chair beside my bed, I would have smiled if not for the searing pain in my jaw. I'd never expected to wake up to that many gifts either. Many being from my friends in Gryffindor, some from Slytherin, surprisingly my team, and even Malfoy added to the pile. Oh wait, I should probably leave it here, George and Fred are once again back to keep me company. I'll see you soon Harry.

From,

The girl who got a bludger to the face
