Chapter 3: WHAT THE F*CK!?

(Mark's POV)

All of Rose's bullying stopped for a while, then got worse. I had to stick up for her most days, Felix on others. But what I witnessed next was fucking horrible...

That night, at Felix's house...

Felix's parents went out, so we had the place to ourselves. Of course, we left. Rose didn't come, saying she wanted to be alone and work some more in her sketchbook. Plus, she didn't want dirty looks from people since she was a Neko.
I understood that. She wanted to get over everything and not be judged more. We decided to just grab some food, and planned to take it back to Felix's house. Instead, he asked me to go get her.

As I went to pull up in the driveway, I saw another car speed off. I called Felix, to see if he knew the license plate.

"What was it," he asked.
"ADR13N. Oh..."
"Dude, it's Adrien. But why would he just speed off?"
"I dunno, but I'm about to find out."

I ended the call and slowly and quietly walked into Felix's house. Not a soul was there. I checked Felix's room first, which was untouched. Then, I checked Rose's room. She wasn't there either. She wouldn't be anywhere else.

As I went to leave her room, I heard something come from the closet.

"Hello?"

Then there was a muffled scream. It was so blood curdling that I got chills. I ran to the closet, only to see a horrific sight. Now I knew why Adrien sped off like that.
That fucking bastard had bound, gagged, and blindfolded her!! Not only that, but all she had on was a pair of spandex shorts and a strapless bra.
I went to pick her up, only to feel a warm liquid on my hands. Blood. I looked at her back, only to see whip marks. The blood was all over her, even her tail. I immediately called 911 after getting her untied.

"Hello," I asked frantically as the operator asked me questions. "My name's Mark Fischbach and I found my friend's sister in her closet! She was bound, gagged, and deprived of sight! Yes, she's a Neko!... Please, just send an ambulance right away! She's bleeding really bad!!"

After she said they were on their way, I called Felix. While talking to him, I stroked her hair, trying to calm her down. I heard her begin to purr...

"Hello?"
"Felix, get your ass over here NOW!!"
"WHAT HAPPENED!?" he yelled through the phone.
"I found Rose, but that bastard Adrien... He... he..."
"He what, Mark?!"
"He bound and gagged her, Felix..."
"...Jag kommer snart... Den mannen är död..."

I heard the phone call end. I didn't understand a word of that. I knew he was running here, though. Within two minutes, he was there. He saw the cut rope, ball gag, and blindfold on the ground. He looked like he wanted to kill Adrien.
He took her from my arms and got her in his. She was unconscious.

"Rose?!" Felix screamed, very worried. "Rose, wake up!! I swear, if it's the last thing I do, I'll kill that motherfucker. I-"

We heard two more gasps come from behind us. It was their parents.

"ROSE," they yelled in unison.

Paramedics arrived shortly after...

Four hours later...

It was after midnight now. Felix was inpatiently tapping his foot, waiting for a doctor to say something.

"Why didn't I believe you, Jack," he sighed. "I should've believed you when you said Mark had a feeling that Adrien was up to something... Why the fuck didn't I listen?"

After another twenty minutes, they finally told us something.

"I'm sorry for the wait," the doctor apologized. "There was a lot to do."
"What happened? What took so long?" Felix asked, getting more impatient.
"Well, the whip marks were infected with drinking alcohol. The tests came up as Busch."
"Are you fucking kidding me," Felix gasped.
"Language, Felix," his dad warned.
"When can we see her?"
"Now. She's awake. But she requested a... Mark Fischbach to speak with before the family."
"Why me?" I asked.
"That, I don't know."

Felix nodded and I went to her room. She was in a hospital bed, scrolling through her phone. Then she looked up at me and smiled, her ears perked up and her tail swishing happily.

"Hey, Mark," she grinned.
"Hey."
"Thank you..."
"I wasn't gonna just leave you there. Felix is pissed, though."
"Yeah... I bet."
"What happened?"

Before Mark came back...
(Rose's POV)

I was just working in my sketchbook when I heard a knock at the door. I figured it was one of Felix's friends, wanting to know where he was.
But as soon as I opened the door, I saw Adrien. He pushed me onto the ground and slammed the door. I tried to run, but he grabbed me by my ears, making me yowl in pain. Then, he stripped me down to my spandex and bra.

"It's your fucking fault that my best friend is in juvie!" He yelled.

I then noticed the bag on his side. I knew what it contained. A ball gag, rope, a thick leather whip, and and blindfold.

"Adrien, please, don't," I pleaded. "Please...!"

Before I knew it, my hands were bound and he forced the gag on me. I heard him snap the whip before snapping it onto my back. I began to cry from the pain, because this hurt like a bitch. He's only done this one other time, which was when I was at his house. I wanted my brother... I wanted Mark.

Mark had kept me safe all this time. I felt comfortable in his arms when he hugged me. I could always drown into his deep, chocolate eyes...

CRACK!

My thoughts were interrupted as Adrien brought the whip onto my back again. He poured straight alcohol onto my back, infecting it. Once he felt that he was done, he dragged me to my room by my ears. He threw me into my own closet and said,

"Let's see if Mark finds you this time..."

It was about an hour and a half until I heard someone step into the house. This was my chance. I screamed as loud as my lungs let me, and only a muffle came out.

"Hello?"

It was Mark!! I screamed louder, so he would hear me. He ran to my closet and found me crying. He immediately untied me and called 911.
The last thing I saw or heard was my brother...

I couldn't fucking believe this. How could someone that heartless hurt such an cute, innocent little Neko like Rose?

I promised myself from that day forward to keep her safe, no matter what the cost...
