i can not believe i have to say this
every time but; can you write all
these don'ts and end up with
an amazing, well written story?
yES! but if you want your story
to be more original, i suggest
staying away from the bit overused
plots listed below.THE DO'S AND DON'TS OF
THE 100 FANFICTIONDO'S:
make the oc have a role
on earth. anything except being
a nurse, which is clarke's role in
season one. make her/him an engineer, or make him/her be then one to make the clothes, or anything else!make a chapter explaining how
(s)he got arrested and why (s)he was
put on earth (if (s)he's one of the
100)there are a hundred people on the ground, make them interact
with them! make your own
characters, ones your oc can interact with (or even give them a whole
storyline and backstory as well)make bellamy develop in the fanfic too! Don't make him bad the whole book!
add your own sub plots to make
the character interesting.
if you're creating you're own
language and klan,
i find it better if instead of
creating a whole new language
or copying one,
just write it in italic if it's said
in another language.
Ex:
"My Name's Clarke, and I only came to make peace with you and your Klan."
" Peace? " Spat the grounder. " You killed our people. "create other characters that are a part of the hundred and let them have a role in your oc's backstory.
DON'TS:
make bellamy call the oc
'princess'.
come up with another nickname (or none at all)make clarke a bitch
clarke substitutes. just don't.
'i got arrested for being born.'
if you're going to make your oc
have a sibling, (which you should not do!), at least make it good!make your OC's parent a council
member. i roll my eyes every
time i see this.do NOT make your OC
take a day of training and all
of a sudden they're the best shot.make the OC interact with
the mains only. just dont.take raven's role and make
her a mechanic.
