Okay, so I don't really mind if the OC is a werewolf, witch or vampire. As long as it's written good enough!!
MAKE THEIR SUPERPOWER AFFECT THEM AS A PERSON! How many times have we seen an OC who gets turned into a vampire and just 'feels stronger' and thats it? Not once have I seen an OC that turns into some supernatural being (this mostly goes for TW & TVD fanfics) and is literally not affected by it. No OC ever cries or anything. You mean to tell me if you turned into a blood sucking undead creature you wouldn't cry??? Nope, THEY JUST GET HOTTER.
THE OC THAT SUDDENLY FOUND OUT SHE HAS POWERS HER WHOLE LIFE. Okay, if you're going to do this you might as well use a little thing us writers called FORESHADOWING! Sometimes its good when readers can put pieces of hints thrown out of throughout the books and build their own little theories in their heads. ITS MUCH BETTER THAN SUDDENLY: BOOM! SHE HAD POWERS THE WHOLE TIME AND FOR SOME REASON IT ONLY CAME OUT NOW! Drop little hints that lead to their superpower!!
SUPERPOWERS: strength invisibility psychokinesis telepathy speed telekinesis ability to control four elements: water, air, earth & fire power mimicry healing time travel underwater breathing invincibility atmokinesis mind control force field flying mind manipulation
