forty minutes before.
oh
"josh?" there was a scream from downstairs: loud, strong and rather intimidating.but, you know.
what wasn't intimating to josh?"josh! get the fuck down here!" josh stumbles out of bed, tripping over each step as he runs down the wooden staircase, heart racing.
"what is this?" he points at a bottle of alcohol that definitely wasn't his. definitely not. josh had never drunk.
so he shrugs, his jaw shattering. "speak!"
the blue boy freezes.
"speak!"
the next thing josh knows he's being held against the wall by his arms.
the man kneed the shorter boys stomach, a groan leaving his lips. he'd - almost- never been in so much pain.
"i'm going to show you. i'm going to. you're going to make a sound-" he was cut off by josh using all his remaining strength to push him away, he landed on the floor, only now the smell of alcohol coming to his attention.
which was odd, as his dad never drunk anything alcoholic.
he was petrified; taking a moment or two to process what had just happened, before sprinting out of his house into the streets towards the park where he was meeting tyler.
he was an hour early, but that's what he needed right now.
