Your POV:
"Your dad's... house?" you say curiously."Yeah, the palace," Asriel says.
"And why do you think we should go?" Frisk says.
"Well... I think ... it might have the thing I'm looking for," Asriel explains.
"And what's that?" Sans insists.
Asriel glances at you, and eventually says, "To research stuff about (Y/N)'s SOUL."
You don't like the fact that Sans and Asriel are kind of avoiding you. Ever since Sans saw that your SOUL was mahogany, they've been...
...almost scared of me.
You don't really understand why though. From what you think, you haven't done anything bad. Maybe it was in the last reset?
Or maybe, you have some special power that is bad. Frisk can reset. Maybe that's because of their SOUL color. But what is Frisk's color? Definitely not mahogany, but you-
Oh! Duh, it's red!
You remember what was written in your journal. And what Frisk told you. Of course it was red. Maybe other humans with red SOULs could...
...could reset.
"Um, (Y/N)?" Sans says, waving a hand in front of your face. "You out of Wonderland yet?"
You look up, confused. "O-oh, yeah. Sorry..." You feel your cheeks burn. But that's just because of the heat of Hotland. Right?
"So? We going to the palace?" Sans asks.
"Guess so," Frisk says. Sans looks at you and Asriel, and you both nod in response.-
Everyone starts to grab hands, but then Asriel exclaims, "Could I do it this time?"
Sans gives Asriel a look."Really, Asriel? Welp, I'll let you this time."
You grab hands, and take the shortcut.
You find yourself in what Asriel calls the palace, and what you call a version of Toriel's house. There's only one difference. Everything is gray. The only thing that's not a shade of gray is some flowers, entranced in a fascinating shade of gold.
Literally everything is the same as Toriel's house. You remember Asriel telling you that they divorced.
Wow, they must miss each other a lot.
The house kinda reminds you of one of those ads where everything's black and white at first and the person is all sad, but then everything's colorful and everyone's happy. It's kinda reflects into the two houses. You think of Asgore as this slightly depressed person, while Toriel is this optimistic person. But then again, you've never met them, so you don't know how they really are.
"Looks like Mom's house, eh?" Asriel asks. You nod. It sure does.
"So... let's get to checking out those books," Sans says.
"Hmm... okay. Sans, you take the living room and kitchen, I'll take the basement, (Y/N) can do the rooms down the hallway, and Asriel can... come with me," Frisk says. Everyone goes to their designated areas.
You go into the first room in the hallway. Like all the other rooms, it's gray, but it's got a bit of a childish feeling to it. There's a twin-size bed on one side, and another is filled with a variety of things, from pictures to shoes to a sweater that says, "Mr. Dad Guy."
