{Savannah's POV}
Ms. Turner brought my things up to a room on the second floor of the orphanage, and introduced me to some of the other orphans my age.
"Ohh, Savannah, you'll be good friends with these kiddos, I can just tell!" Ms. Turner introduced me to two girls my age, and two boys who were eight.
I was slightly intimidated by the boys when I first met them, but I realized that's just because they were tall. Once I got to know them, I realized they were total softies.
The girls were really nice, and so sweet.
One of the girls was named Rachael. She was the same height as me, and had pretty hazel eyes that lit up when she stood in the sunlight. Her skin was a slightly more pale color than mine. She also had really long hair that was down to her waist, and it was curly, and a really pretty auburn color.
When I first met her that day, she was wearing a purple t-shirt with black leggings, and purple Sketchers. (A/N: Cause they're five, and when I was five, Sketchers were the coolest thing ever, next to those light up ballet flat thingies.) She had her hair up in a ponytail, and had a black, sparkly headband in.
The other girl was Shailene. She was only slightly shorter than me and Rachael, and had tan skin. She also had dark brown eyes, and they were the color of milk chocolate. She had light brown hair, similar to mine, but hers was closer to blonde.
When I first met Shailene, she was wearing red Sketchers, (A/N: again, because they were cool when I was five, I have no clue what five year olds wear nowadays XD) a white t-shirt with a rainbow stretching across the front, and grey leggings. She had her hair down, since it wasn't that long, it was barely past her shoulders.
The boys gave no hesitation to make their presence known.
"I'm Noah," Noah pointed to himself.
Noah had very light brown hair that flopped in his face, and made me laugh. He had blueish-greenish eyes that interested me, since I had never seen any eyes that color. Lin's had been close, but not as noticeable. Noah had glasses, with wide, black frames- kind of like the ones I got when I was ten- and light skin.
He wore a green Vans t-shirt, and black sweatpants. He also had white running sneakers on.
"*Ahem* And my name is Steven," Steven waved at me. I waved in return. He seemed like a nice kid.
Steven had blonde hair the same style as Noah's, and dark blue eyes, like sapphires. He was the same height as Noah, too, and Steven had tan skin.
Steven was wearing a bright blue Hollister shirt, and denim jeans, with red Converse sneakers.
Ms.Turner left us all to talk and get to know each other.
"So, why are you here?" Steven asked me.
"What do you mean?" I responded with confusion.
"I mean, what happened to your parents?" he explained.
I shrugged my shoulders.
"The policeman said my parents went on vacation. But I don't think he meant it," I told him.
"Oh..." Steven didn't seem to know what to say.
We all sat down in a circle in the living room of the orphanage.
"My parents died in a car crash," Noah said plainly. He had a blank expression on his face, like it wasn't a big deal.It obviously was.
"My parents were shot in a burglary. They passed away in the hospital," Steven said, with tears welling up in his eyes.
