A Casual Day

{Noah's POV}

I was next-door a lot, hanging out with Steven and the guys. I also talked with Savannah and Rachael, but they seemed pretty distant lately, like something was wrong.

I didn't bother trying to figure it out. I've learned in life that if a girl's angry, leave her alone. At all costs.

I've also learned that moving on from Shailene? Easier said than done. I wish I could pretend this had never happened, but that's a trip to Mars as well.

Ryan took me to Gamestop one time. It was pretty fun. We just wandered around the store, and he let me pick out a couple games.

I noticed a wall of little cards that said "Minecraft Premium Account" on them. I was curious, so I asked the cashier.

"It has a code that it unlocks, rather than buying an account off the computer, you type the code into the website to get your account," he told me.

"Thank you," I replied. I told Ryan I wanted one.

"Didn't we already get you one?" he asked.

"I have one," I replied. "But my friend doesn't."

{Adam's POV}

I made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for everyone at lunchtime. Since I figured that probably wasn't very filling, I passed out a bowl of Fritos, too.

"Thanks, I guess," Mitch laughed, taking a bite of his sandwich.

"Hey man, don't hate, I put white bread on your sandwich just for you," I replied.

Mitch just shrugged and took another bite.

{Savannah's POV}

"Hey, Rachael?" I asked, as I made my way into her room. Rachael was sitting in the corner once again.

"What?" she asked.

"I've been thinking a lot about this lately... are you sure that it's Shailene in your head?"

"Yeah, I mean, no, I mean-"

"That's what I thought. See, there's this thing called schizophrenia, and-"

"I don't have it. I might, no, I must not, I-"

"That sounds exactly like something a schizophrenic would say. I hate to tell you, but...."

"But I can't have it! I was perfectly fine until we starting thinking about Shailene! I don't... I don't want to have this..." Rachael sobbed.

"Really, we could-"

"Leave me alone," she said.

I listened, and soon enough, I was out in the hall.

Something was terribly wrong, but I didn't have any control over fixing it.

{Author's Note: Yay, another short, depressing chapter.

If you don't know what schizophrenia is, it's a disorder that causes people to be:

•Awkward and not know how to act in public.
•Not be able to make mental decisions. {You have multiple voices in your head.}
•You can't tell the difference between what's real and what's not.

It's pretty serious, and it can drive some people diagnosed with it insane.

Why do I put these things in my story xD
