Shailene!

{Shailene's POV}

~le time skip of two years~

Something didn't feel right today. I knew that the cancer was taking a turn for the worse.

{Rachael's POV}

~still two years later~

Shailene was acting weird today. Savannah noticed it, too. She looked sick, and terribly pale.

"Maybe she's got the flu. It was going around in the city," Savannah suggested.

But that didn't seem right.

"Shay, are you feeling alright?" I asked. Right then, she started screaming in pain.

"Go get Ms. Turner! Now!" I ordered Savannah. She ran out of the room. This wasn't good.

She came back only seconds later, with Ms. Turner right behind her.

"What's going on?" Ms. Turner asked.

"Shailene's really sick," I answered.

"We have to get her to the hospital," Ms. Turner declared. She wrapped Shailene's arm around her shoulder, and brought her downstairs.

"You two can come with us," Ms. Turner said.

"Wendy! You're in charge!" Ms. Turner yelled to her assistant as we ran out the door.

She led the two of us to her car, with Shailene in the back, with us sitting next to her to comfort her.

Ms. Turner tore off to the Roseton Hospital. We got there in 4 minutes flat.

We unbuckled, and helped Shailene out of the car, her knees were wobbling the whole time.

We ran to the Emergency Room entrance, and Ms. Turner checked in. Shailene was rushed to a room immediately.

The last thing I heard her say was, "I'll miss you guys. Take care," and in an instant, I knew she wasn't going to make it.
