In this One-Shot they are like 15 and like 14 for Cole.

"Hi, um...Dalton. I was wondering if you wanted to maybe... maybe um go... on a date w-with me?" Cole said blushing, his voice shaky.

He'd been working up the nerve to ask Dalton out the entire month. Cole had had this crush on him since the beginning of ninth grade.

"Oh, sure. I'd love to...um when?" Dalton said, his cheeks heating up. He actually really liked Cole and they were really good friend. He was flattered and nervous.

"How about Friday, I'll pick you up at 8:00." Cole said feeling butterflies as he spoke, looking at the cute blonde boy that stood before him.

"Okay, um cool, see ya," said Dalton as he walked down the hallway away from Cole. "Call me."

The rest of his day seem to just be better than the rest. Cole asked him on a date.

Through out the rest these rest of the school week, Dalton started getting nervous and anxious about his date.

What should he wear? How should he act around Cole's parent when they pick him up? Should he show them how much he likes Cole or should he just act extremely polite? What would he do if he and Cole got to close?

Should he get something from Cole to like thank him or...?

All these question kept boggling around in his head and every time he saw Cole, laughing, smiling, just chatting, the feeling in his stomach would get worse.

At 6:00 on Friday evening Dalton was stressing out over what to wear. Formal? Casual? Semi-Formal? Comfortable? Food Clothes? Walking Clothes?

He finally decided on a outfit, praying it would be okay, then brushing his teeth. Immediately afterwards Dalton heard a knock in his front door.

He rushed down the stairs feeling quite girly, opened the door and there stood Cole dress in jeans a nice plaid shirt and a hoody.

Cole's eyes widen as he stared at his date for the evening, admiring his outfit. Dalton was wearing black skinny jeans with a black vest over a white dress shirt, sleeves rolled up, of course.

Cole absolutely loved how he look, though he was a bit over dressed, he looked amazing. Cole could feel his heart skip a beat as Dalton gave him a smile and told to hold on.

Dalton's mom came to the door, Cole greeted her with his charm and Dalton hugged her, told her he'd be back by 10 and left with Cole.

"You look amazing!" Cole said breaking the silence that filled the air between him and Dalton.

"Thanks, you look nice too." Dalton could feel his face turning red. he could've sworn he was sweat like a pig. "So where are we going?"

"Oh, we're going to Montana's for dinner then probably to a movie or the arcade, maybe for a walk." Cole responded shrugging his shoulders and leaning his steps trying to get closer to Dalton.

"My mom's gonna drop us a Montana's then we're on our own." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

They got into the back seat of the car and Dalton greeted Cole's mom. She dropped them at Montana's and left.

A waitress got them a table and they waited for their menus.

"Um...Cole." Dalton meekly said over the roar of the restaurant after a prolonged silence between the two.

"Yeah, Dalton," Cole replied gently, feeling stupid.

"I have to ask, why did you ask me out?" Dalton said not feeling right or good enough for Cole. Why did Cole ask him, was it a prank?
